Regional Planning Manager Job Purpose The Regional Planning Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing demand, supply, and production planning processes across multiple locations within a region. This role ensures inventory optimization, operational efficiency, and alignment between supply chain functions and business objectives. Experience Professional background 8+ years of experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, or production planning in a regional or global environment; Strong experience with supply chain optimization, and inventory management; Hands-on expertise in ERP, APS, and data analytics platforms. Key Responsibilities - DEMAND & SUPPLY PLANNING Oversee and optimize demand forecasting and supply planning across multiple business units. - SALES & OPERATIONS PLANNING (S&OP) MANAGEMENT Lead the regional S&OP process, ensuring alignment between demand, supply, and financial planning. - INVENTORY & CAPACITY MANAGEMENT Implement inventory optimization strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory. - DATA ANALYTICS & KPI MONITORING Establish and monitor supply chain KPIs - PROCESS OPTIMIZATION & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT Identify and implement automation and digital transformation projects to streamline workflows. - CROSS-FUNCTIONAL & REGIONAL COLLABORATION Act as a key liaison between regional and global sales and supply chain teams. Collaborate with procurement, logistics, finance, and manufacturing teams to improve supply chain alignment. - RISK MANAGEMENT & COMPLIANCE Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including supply disruptions, geopolitical factors, and raw material shortages.
