Please note that candidates must currently live in the following states: DC, Illinois, Maryland, New York, Virginia Civis Analytics is hiring a Strategic Growth Advisor to expand executive-level relationships and accelerate enterprise product revenue across the nonprofit ecosystem. We serve mission-driven organizations including non-profits like Doctors without Borders, Sierra Club, and Human Rights Campaign, as well as government agencies and mission-focused commercial organizations. In this role, you will originate and advance high-value enterprise opportunities, activate agency partnerships, and strengthen Civis' position as a trusted AI and analytics infrastructure partner for the sector. Salary: 180,000 plus commission What You'll Do - Build and deepen relationships with nonprofit CEOs, COOs, CMOs, and senior fundraising leaders, translating executive trust into defined enterprise product opportunities - Serve as a senior sector ambassador at key nonprofit associations, executive forums, and industry events in partnership with the CEO - Originate high-value enterprise product opportunities and lead or materially advance strategic deals through close with Civis' pre-sales team - Define Civis' value proposition for nonprofit agencies and embed the platform within priority agency workflows to create durable, repeatable distribution channels - Structure and activate revenue-producing agency partnerships and co-selling motions - Identify and validate AI product use cases that drive demand with non-technical executive audiences through live engagement and customer trials - Curate targeted executive AI roundtables and workshops (~1/quarter) focused on priority data and AI challenges - Provide structured commercial feedback on AI packaging, pricing, and adoption barriers surfaced through enterprise conversations What We're Looking For (Minimum Qualifications) - 10+ years of experience in senior roles within or adjacent to the nonprofit sector (executive leadership, business development, consulting, or partnerships) - Demonstrated track record of building and leveraging C-suite relationships to drive revenue or organizational outcomes - Experience originating and advancing complex, high-value deals or partnerships - Familiarity with AI and data analytics products and ability to communicate their value to non-technical executive audiences - Strong presence and credibility within the nonprofit ecosystem; associations, executive networks, and sector convenings - US work authorization required Bonus Points (Preferred Qualifications) - Existing relationships with nonprofit CEOs, CMOs, or senior fundraising leaders in Civis' target sectors - Experience structuring agency partnerships or co-selling motions - Background in enterprise SaaS, analytics, or AI-adjacent products - Experience in DC-based nonprofit or public sector networks You Should Apply If: - You are deeply embedded in the nonprofit sector and can open doors at the executive level - You are comfortable operating at the intersection of relationship development, strategic positioning, and revenue generation - You thrive in collaborative environments and can work fluidly with internal pre-sales and product teams You Should Not Apply If: - You do not have senior-level nonprofit sector relationships or credibility - You are looking for a traditional sales management role - You prefer structured, process-heavy environments over strategic, self-directed work Civis embraces the individuality of our employees and we celebrate each other's differences.
