Marketing Assistant (Contract-to-hire) Description As a Marketing Assistant at //TECHYSCOUTS, you'll work across content, email, social media, and outreach — helping us grow our brand, generate leads, and support the marketing efforts behind our expanding portfolio of clients and proprietary tools. This is not a "post and ghost" social media role. Job Requirements

  • Content & Email Marketing
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns including newsletters, drip sequences, and cold outreach
  • Write compelling copy for blog posts, landing pages, and marketing collateral across our target verticals
  • Assist in building and maintaining content calendars aligned to business goals and seasonal timing
  • Support Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and SEO best practices in written content
  • Video & Social Media
  • Create and manage organic social media content across platforms — short-form video is an important part of this role
  • Shoot, edit, and produce reels and outreach video clips using modern editing tools (AI-assisted tools a plus)
  • Help grow and manage //TECHYSCOUTS' organic social presence with engaging, on-brand content
  • Attend local LA networking events and activations to capture content and represent the brand
  • Tools & Operations
  • Manage outreach campaigns using Instantly/Hubspot and coordinate follow-up workflows
  • Update and maintain CRM records, contact lists, and campaign reporting in HubSpot
  • Make website content updates using CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, or similar)
  • Collaborate with the team daily via Slack and keep projects moving efficiently
