Role Description Nue is seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Engineer who brings more than technical expertise to the table. We want a driven individual who can see through the eyes of our prospects, understand their existing infrastructure, and craft a compelling vision for seamless transformation. This role demands strong business acumen, mastery of SaaS order-to-cash processes, and the creativity to bridge technical and business conversations for diverse stakeholder audiences. - Engage directly with enterprise prospects and customers to uncover organizational needs and pain points, especially around order-to-cash processes. - Design thoughtful, tailored solution architectures that elegantly integrate Nue with existing systems—including Salesforce.com, NetSuite, and legacy billing platforms. - Lead technical presentations and product demonstrations that bring the future-state value of Nue to life for stakeholders in sales, sales operations, finance, and IT. - Act as a trusted advisor, building credibility with all buying influences and addressing concerns specific to each function’s priorities and legacy systems. - Craft comprehensive responses to RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires, showcasing clear written communication. - Partner closely with Nue account executives, solution architects, and product teams, providing constructive feedback to continually improve our offering and go-to-market approach. - Maintain a framework for understanding customer personalities, organizational structures, and how to balance conflicting priorities into a unified technical vision. Qualifications - Technical fluency in SaaS CPQ and Billing systems. - Familiarity with order to cash systems and applications, with hands-on experience connecting Salesforce.com, NetSuite, and legacy SaaS systems. - Deep familiarity with SaaS order-to-cash workflows, customer billing, revenue recognition, and operational hand-offs. - Hands-on knowledge of commercial LLMs and how enterprises are adopting them. - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; adept at simplifying complexity for both business and technical stakeholders. - Experience working with or selling to sales ops, finance, and IT stakeholders; able to empathize with their priorities and perspectives. - Grit, creativity, and a love for engaging with customers—willing to go the extra mile to build trust and credibility. - Ability to think on your feet, adapt to conversations in real time, and confidently influence group dynamics. - Prior experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer, Solution Consultant, or similar customer-facing technical role; startup or high-growth SaaS experience strongly preferred.
