Role Description The Senior Project Manager leads complex, high-visibility projects within the Professional Services organization. This role requires advanced project management expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage client relationships while delivering successful outcomes in complex scenarios. - Lead complex, high-profile, or strategic customer implementation projects - Develop comprehensive project management plans with detailed work breakdown structures - Manage project scope, timeline, and resources with minimal supervision - Build and maintain strong client relationships at multiple levels - Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks through proactive management - Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate activities across multiple workstreams - Provide guidance and mentorship to junior project management staff - Drive project governance and ensure adherence to methodology and standards - Manage escalations and complex issue resolution - Contribute to process improvement initiatives and best practices - Facilitate complex client requirements gathering and solution alignment - Ensure smooth transition to support at project completion - Prepare and present executive-level project status reports - Demonstrate advanced and consistent use of AI tools to manage complex projects more effectively, including risk identification, stakeholder reporting, and workstream coordination - Actively share AI best practices, workflows, and lessons learned with Project Coordinators and Project Managers - Document and contribute proven AI-driven efficiency improvements to the PMO knowledge base - Partner with the PMO Operations & AI Optimization Analyst to help validate and refine AI workflows based on real delivery experience Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience - 5–8 years of project management experience - 3+ years in healthcare IT project management preferred - PMP certification or equivalent - Demonstrated track record of using AI tools to improve delivery efficiency and project outcomes - Experience managing complex implementation projects - Demonstrated success in client-facing roles Requirements - Advanced project management and leadership skills - Exceptional client relationship management abilities - Strategic thinking and problem-solving expertise - Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills - Advanced proficiency leveraging AI tools to improve delivery quality and reduce administrative burden - Ability to model and actively promote AI adoption among junior team members - In-depth understanding of healthcare integration concepts - Experience with change management techniques - Advanced proficiency with project management tools and methodologies Benefits - Comprehensive benefits package on day 1 (medical, dental, vision, life, disability) - 401k with a generous company match - Unlimited PTO, sick time & volunteer days - An innovative, inclusive, and fun work environment - Continuous learning and development opportunities
Job Requirements

• Serve as primary point of contact for the client. • Provide leadership, guidance and development of all staff assigned to the project team. • Apply expertise in the disciplines and technical areas to include internal controls, federal financial management, IT general computer controls, and audit remediation. • Manage and direct all A-123 activities. • Oversee and support the development of business process cycle memos (which consist of a narrative, flowchart, and control evaluation matrixes). • Oversee and support the performance of Test of Design (TOD) and Test of Operating Effectiveness (TOE) of internal controls over financial reporting. • Evaluate internal control deficiencies to determine classification based on severity and impact. • Evaluate and recommend improvements regarding existing and future procedures and processes. • Prepare ad-hoc reporting and assist with special projects, as required.
