Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. What You Will Do: Preparation and issuance of RFIs, RFPs. Letter Subcontracts, POs Place purchase orders of medium complexity in accordance with all regulatory (FAR/DFAR) and corporate compliance requirements for various complex subcontract (Cost Type, Incentive Type, Firm Fixed, etc.). Perform price and cost analysis techniques in support of proposals and placements. Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to secure the best terms and conditions. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure procurement activities align with business goals. Monitor and manage supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and quality standards. Maintain POs to ensure accurate and timely supplier delivery information. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance. Identify and mitigate risks related to procurement and supply chain activities. Ensure adherence to RTX Corporation’s procurement policies and procedures. Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Qualifications you Must Have: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience DoD procurement experience and knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) – ability to place Purchase Orders over TINA dollar threshold U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62. The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
