Role Description Paradigm is seeking an experienced Accounting Systems Specialist to serve as a key functional expert supporting our Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and broader Finance teams. This fully remote role blends strong accounting knowledge with hands-on system expertise, acting as the go-to resource for troubleshooting, optimizing, and supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials across multiple modules. The ideal candidate brings deep Oracle Fusion experience, a strong understanding of accounting workflows, and a collaborative mindset to help ensure accurate processing, smooth system performance, and continuous improvement of finance operations. - Act as the primary point of contact for Oracle Fusion functional issues across AP, AR, OEM, and General Ledger. - Troubleshoot system errors, failed transactions, workflow issues, and integration problems. - Research and resolve data inaccuracies, posting failures, and processing errors within Oracle Fusion modules. - Escalate unresolved system issues to consultants or Oracle support when necessary and follow through to resolution. - Assist AP and AR teams with system navigation, transaction processing, validation, and correction activities in Fusion. - Provide guidance on best practices for invoice processing, receipts, journal entries, account reconciliations, and period close tasks. - Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities involving Oracle Fusion modules. - Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows using Oracle Fusion features and automation capabilities. - Develop, maintain, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for system processes. - Assist in testing and validating enhancements, upgrades, and configuration changes in Oracle Fusion. - Support teams in generating, validating, and troubleshooting reports using OTBI, Smart View, or other Oracle reporting tools. - Perform additional duties as identified and directed by management. Qualifications - 3+ years of accounting experience - Hands-on experience working within Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials (AP, AR, GL, Cash Management, OEM, FAH, etc). - Attention to detail is required. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Adaptability to evolving systems and business processes - Excellent oral and written communication skills required. - Ability to read, comprehend and author instructions, correspondence, memos, and other documentation. - Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close is a plus. Role Summary This role is a member of the Finit Accounting Hub team, responsible for implementing OneStream Financial Close solutions including Account Reconciliations, Transaction Matching, Journal Entry Management, and Task Manager for clients. This individual will support solution design, system configuration, testing, training, and client enablement activities.
