Regional Field Engineer – Escalators
Otis Elevator Co.
• Provide technical support and guidance to field associates • Lead and train field associates on non-Otis escalator equipment • Ensure compliance with safe work practices in accordance with EH&S standards • Investigate and resolve critical customer problems • Interface with internal and external customers for consults • Monitor field tests, inspections, and reports of escalators • Assist regions regarding malfunctioning escalator equipment
Job Requirements
- High school degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years relevant technical elevator experience required
- Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated to manage multiple projects
- Comfortable in a technical environment with Microsoft software
- Working knowledge of non-Otis software and experience with Otis and non-Otis products preferred

The MID Instructor completes initial adult comprehensive assessments for program admission, mid-point evaluations, and exit interviews for each participant. Additionally, the instructor participates in ongoing curriculum development and provides documentation and consultation with probation officers, courts, and the Department of Motor Vehicles. The MID Program is a 16-week educational program for individuals with a first DUI conviction. Participation is court-mandated, requiring attendance at sixteen 2-hour group sessions, a mid-point interview, and an exit interview.
