Role Description We are hiring a Junior Strategist that will focus on meaningful, high-impact work that truly moves the needle, rather than getting stuck in repetitive, low-value tasks. You’ll have the space and trust to prioritize what’s strategically right, instead of accommodating every request at the expense of outcomes. This is a role where you feel trusted to take full ownership, with the autonomy to make decisions, challenge what doesn’t make sense, and focus on what truly drives results. At the same time, you feel continuously challenged to grow, think bigger, and raise the bar for yourself and the outcomes you deliver. - Act as the primary client contact to define KPIs, build lifecycle roadmaps, and design high-impact retention strategies. - Collaborate with a dedicated designer and a junior email marketer (strategy associate) who will handle the heavy lifting of moving assets and setting up flows in Klaviyo. - Use AI as a high-speed brainstorming partner to write engaging emails and SMS, while managing the internal copy approval pipeline, giving the final green light on copy deliverables drafted by you or other team members. - Define and manage account scopes, allocate hours to high-ROI initiatives, and track project pacing, timesheets, and budgets using ClickUp. - Guide and mentor junior Strategy Associates, supporting their workflow prioritization, execution accuracy, and professional growth. - Own the client relationship, confidently manage expectations, and present clear, data-driven performance reports. - Oversee delivery quality, turn big wins into case studies, and help update internal agency playbooks. Qualifications - Bachelor’s OR Master's Degree OR Certifications preferably in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field with a focus on digital or eCommerce. - 2-3 years of experience on eCommerce or lifecycle marketing, with ownership of client strategy and performance (agency or in-house). - Strong expertise in retention and lifecycle channels (email, SMS), including segmentation, testing, and optimization. - Proven ability to think commercially, prioritize effectively, and translate data into actionable strategy. - Experience leading or mentoring team members and collaborating cross-functionally (design and technical teams). - Hands-on knowledge of key tools like Klaviyo (or similar), Shopify (or equivalent), and subscription/retention platforms. Benefits - This is a remote contractor role with a competitive salary. - 22 days paid annual leave (21+1 birthday day), with clear expectations for being fully offline during time off. - 7 paid sick days, plus additional paid leave for special circumstances. - Comprehensive career growth package, featuring quarterly bonuses and guaranteed annual salary review based on regular performance evaluations. - Annual budget for tools, courses, memberships, and professional growth. - Remote-first work environment (Europe preferred), flexible working arrangements, and clear ownership over deliverables. Company Description YOCTO is the agency with the largest Klaviyo book of business in EMEA and one of only 44 Klaviyo Elite Partners globally (top 0.00025% worldwide). We provide lifecycle marketing services to fast-growing brands in health, wellness, beauty, and subscription eCommerce. A place that will challenge you fully, and give just as much in return. After 1-2 years at YOCTO, you will be able to succeed in any agency or eCommerce environment.
