• Review medical and billing records to identify relevant diagnoses, treatment history, procedures, and case details • Help connect recommended or completed care to injuries, diagnoses, and case facts • Distinguish pre-existing medical conditions from injuries related to the case when supported by the records • Assist with life care plans, medical cost projections, narrative reports, and side-by-side analysis tables • Create cost projection tables when needed • Make clear notes in case records to support report development and case review • Attend scheduled consultation calls and evaluations with Certified Life Care Planner (CLCP) experts when needed • Support medical problem-solving, research, and analysis across assigned cases • Additional duties as assigned
• Review detailed medical records and identify key treatment history, care needs, and supporting information • Prepare life care plans, medical cost analyses, reports, and related research • Evaluate complex medical files and identify current and future care needs • Research medical services, equipment, medications, therapies, and related costs • Use records, provider information, research, and cost data to support recommendations • Support plaintiff and defense matters, including personal injury cases • Communicate with providers, attorneys, claims professionals, and internal team members • Participate in case discussions, file reviews, and report updates • Apply clinical knowledge and life care planning standards to evaluate care needs • Manage assignments and deadlines with accuracy and responsiveness
• Schedules and conducts inspections and field assessments to evaluate structure and property damage for clients. • Reviews and synthesizes relevant information to prepare damage estimates, scopes, and project reports. • Operates on behalf of clients to monitor and manage timelines, expenses, and other factors critical to operational efficiency and cost management during all phases of construction. • Communicates and corresponds with clients, insurance companies, adjusters, and insureds. • Participates in regular client meetings and supports business development initiatives. • Works independently on smaller projects and as part of a team on larger losses. • Maintains job files, documentation, and other relevant deliverables. • Performs other duties as assigned.
• Conduct forensic accounting investigations related to insurance claims, litigation matters, fraud allegations, and financial disputes • Analyze financial records, business operations, profit/loss data, and other documentation to assess damages, loss calculations, and claim validity • Quantify economic damages, including business interruption losses, extra expenses, inventory losses, and other insured or litigated exposures • Prepare detailed expert reports, financial models, summaries, and supporting analyses • Assist legal teams by interpreting financial data and providing litigation support, including discovery assistance and deposition preparation • Communicate findings to clients, attorneys, insurers, and internal leadership in a clear and concise manner • Testify as an expert witness when required (if applicable) • Maintain strong documentation standards to ensure work is defensible, audit-ready, and aligned with regulatory and legal requirements • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including claims professionals, attorneys, adjusters, and subject matter experts • Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in forensic accounting and insurance litigation
• Fire Consultants provide high-quality consulting services relating to fires, explosions, and losses of significance for YA’s customers. • Lead complex fire and explosion investigations, determining cause and origin across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. • Collaborate with law enforcement, fire departments, and insurance companies to gather information. • Collect and analyze evidence using various methods, including witness interviews, scene photography, fire pattern analysis, and data preservation. • Analyze building systems and relevant fire codes, identifying potential failure modes and recommending solutions. • Prepare clear and concise reports outlining investigation findings for clients. • Provide expert testimony or attend depositions if necessary. • Develop and maintain positive client relationships through clear communication and meeting established deadlines. • Stay current on fire investigation trends, regulations, and best practices. • Perform other duties as required.
• Lead and mentor a team of environmental consultants, supporting their development and project work • Reviews junior consultants’ work to ensure accurate, high-quality, and timely deliverables before client submission. • Manage team workload and provide overall project support • Analyze data to develop damage estimates, risks, scopes, and reports • Support regional growth through recruiting and business development • Build and maintain strong client relationships while generating new work • Partner with business development on conferences and client outreach • Perform and schedule industrial hygiene and building science services • Identify environmental risks and health hazards related to catastrophic losses • Conduct building inspections for asbestos, lead, mold, and other hazards • Perform testing, sampling (air, water, soil, etc.), and IAQ assessments • Develop project scopes, protocols, and detailed reports • Review invoices, budgets, and schedules on behalf of clients • Communicate regularly with clients, adjusters, and key stakeholders • Work independently on smaller projects and collaborate on larger losses • Maintain project files and documentation • Performs other duties as assigned.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, supporting their development and project work • Reviews junior consultants’ work to ensure accurate, high-quality, and timely deliverables before client submission. • Ensure project budgets and scope are timely communicated to clients and strictly adhered to. • Drive timely delivery of all project milestones, consistently meeting or surpassing established deadlines. • Coordinates with clients to set up site visits and complete deliverables on projects • Produces project reports that synthesize data collected from our onsite inspections with environmental factors, material properties, and engineering analysis to determine the most likely cause and scope of distress and failures to buildings and components. • Performs site visits to collect field data on residential and commercial properties. • Reviews and interprets the relevant building codes as necessary for issues pertaining to our scope of work. • Assist in business development activities. Work with business development representatives to attend conferences, events, dinners, lunches, when applicable, to promote the company and your personal capabilities. • Performs additional duties as assigned.
