Role Description World Learning seeks a Proposal Writer to develop technical narratives for Education Cannot Wait Lebanon, which focuses on Education in Emergencies. Deliverables include draft 1 and draft 2 for each assignment. - Serve as lead writer for an upcoming opportunity and transform the technical strategy and design into a compelling narrative. - Produce technical narrative drafts that are both compliant with the solicitation. - Contribute to technical annex development, as needed. - Participate in design sessions and review meetings. - Ensure seamless integration of consolidated inputs and revisions into technical drafts. - Other tasks, as assigned. Role Description World Learning is seeking a Program Specialist to lead the implementation of capacity-building, outreach, and knowledge-sharing activities for the STRIVE Program. This mid-level role applies subject matter expertise in study abroad and U.S. higher education to design and deliver trainings, lead communications, and outreach efforts, and represent the program within the international education community. The Specialist works collaboratively with the U.S. Department of State to strengthen institutional capacity for high-quality study abroad programming and contributes to program visibility through capacity building initiatives for U.S. higher education institutions, international education conferences, partnerships, and outreach initiatives. Please note that this position is contingent upon funding from the U.S. Department of State. Responsibilities - Capacity Development and Training - Lead the design and delivery of capacity building initiatives (approximately six per year), which include: in-person and virtual workshops, webinars, and training sessions for U.S. higher education institutions (HEIs). - Conduct needs assessments to inform training topics on education abroad and ensure alignment with field trends. - Develop training materials, guides, and tools that reflect best practices in education abroad. - Coordinate logistics, speakers, and materials for training events. - Manage virtual platforms to implement webinars, virtual workshops, and training sessions. - Contribute to the development and maintenance of an online program library of resources. - Ensure trainings reflect current trends in the international education field and are aligned with U.S. foreign policy priorities. - Conferences and Professional Engagement - Represent the STRIVE Program at in-person or virtual regional and national conferences, workshops, and professional meetings. There will be an average of three to four in-person conferences per year with two to three days of travel. - Support development of conference proposals and presentations. - Present or co-present at sessions to share program resources and best practices, as appropriate. - Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and professional associations in study abroad. - Stay informed of emerging trends to inform training content and program messaging. - Marketing, Outreach, and Communications - Implement outreach strategies to engage U.S. HEIs and increase program participation. - Draft and update content for newsletters, website, social media, and promotional materials. - Develop communications that highlight program activities, successes, and impact. - Develop visually engaging communications products (e.g., infographics, one-pagers, digital campaigns) with support from World Learning's marketing and communications team. - Support conference and event promotion efforts. - Contribute to maintaining consistent branding and messaging across program materials. - Collaboration and Support - Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and organizational learning activities. - Maintain organized documentation and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing. - Contribute to organization's business development for program renewals and rebids leading to the production of innovative and high-quality proposals. Yes Job Description: IHP Climate Change launches in Miami and is focused on preparing college students for a semester-long study abroad program analyzing global climate change issues. The Launch Assistant is a recurring temporary position requiring excellent interpersonal skills, a high level of organization, flexibility, compassion, and the ability to develop positive working relationships with college-aged students. The Launch Assistant is responsible for: - Administrative and logistical support to the Launch Coordinator and Program Director, including assistance with reservations/bookings, purchasing supplies, student support, organizing educational materials, outreach to community partners, and coordinating group transportation. Title: Launch Coordinator - IHP Death & Dying (Fall 2026) Location: New York United States Job Description: Reports to: Program Director Salary Range: $5,000 to $6,500 Term of Employment: 2-3 Months Base of Designation/Remote Eligible: New York City (hybrid) Conditional on Enrollment School for International Training seeks a Launch Coordinator for IHP Death & Dying: Perspectives, Practices, & Policies to be responsible for the development and delivery of a 10-12-day program launch where students will receive orientation and begin attending lectures and engaging in various program activities. The Launch Coordinator will develop experiential programming and curriculum, coordinate logistics of the program launch in an organized and timely manner, manage a cost-effective budget prior to the start of the program launch, and maintain accurate expense records. This position is part-time before and after the 10-12-day launch, but is full-time and on site during the launch when students, staff, and faculty are on site. Responsibilities - Curriculum and Program Development - Work closely with the IHP Program Director (PD) to develop experiential programming and curriculum for the IHP program launch. - Design a well-conceived schedule consisting of site visits, guest lectures, and field-based activities in the US launch city/region and actualize that schedule by confirming guest speakers, site visits, and other activities as agreed upon with the Program Director. - Compose and compile the 'Launch Country Guide' a booklet that includes the program schedule, speaker backgrounds and site visit details, background articles related to educational activities, local sites of interest, and logistics of the launch city necessary to ensure student safety and well-being. - Logistical Coordination - Coordinate logistics of the program launch in an organized and timely manner. - Pre-launch: secure accommodation for the students and faculty, reserve classroom space, plan for group meals by making restaurant reservations, arrange for group transportation, purchase instructional materials, prepare welcome packets, assist with optional activities, serve as a local expert and guide for questions about the area, etc. - Ensure all students and faculty arrive at the airport in time for the official group flight. - During launch: Must be available full-time to coordinate all logistics on site with students and IHP staff team and troubleshoot any unforeseen issues that arise. - Budget/Finance - Work with the Program Director to manage an accurate and cost-effective budget prior to the start of the program launch. - Coordinate program expenses and make payments to all guest speakers, host organizations, and vendors utilized during the program launch. - Collect all receipts and pay stubs for all expenses incurred during the launch. - Within two weeks of the end of the launch, complete expense reports that organize and compile all expenses and receipts in an organized manner according to World Learning financial policies and guidelines. - Facilitation of Educational Content - Attend all educational activities during the program launch. - Facilitate and lead debriefing sessions, group conversations, and reflection activities along with program staff designed to support the academic and learning objectives of the program launch. - Conduct a final program evaluation at the end of the launch designed to draw feedback from students to be utilized in future programmatic planning. - Student Support - Work with the Program Director and SIT staff to ensure that any administrative and student issues associated with the launch are resolved. - Take appropriate measures to protect the health and safety of students in partnership with SIT staff and provide health related support as needed. Requirements Required Experience/Education: The ideal candidates should have: - Lived in New York City for at least 2 years. - At least 4 years of professional experience relating to the themes of the program. - Demonstrated experience and local knowledge of the launch location expressed through diverse relationships with an array of practitioners, academics, and/or activists. - Demonstrated understanding of field-based, experiential, or popular education programs and pedagogy, with knowledge of study abroad preferred. - Master's or professional degree in the thematic area of the program or educational management is preferred but not required. - An organized and detail-oriented demeanor with demonstrated experience in logistics coordination or event planning. - Experience with budgeting and financial reporting. - Articulate in use of oral and written English. - Demonstrated support for diversity and inclusion. - Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills. - Minimum education requirement: bachelor's degree, master's preferred. Role Description The Director of Partnerships & Advocacy is responsible for World Learning and School for International Training (SIT) external relations, policy analysis, and advocacy with respect to the U.S. government, foreign governments, and intergovernmental organizations, think tanks, local and state officials in Vermont, and other entities to advance the organization's mission and core values. The Director works to raise the profile of World Learning and SIT as a thought leader in people-to-people exchanges, higher education, and basic education, among other areas.
