Role Description The Marketing Intern will play a hands-on role in executing marketing campaigns that drive lead generation, client engagement, and brand awareness. This internship provides real-world experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with a focus on paid digital advertising, content creation, and the use of AI-powered tools to optimize performance. Key Responsibilities - Digital Advertising & Lead Generation - Plan, launch, and optimize paid advertising campaigns to drive qualified B2B leads. - Support development and execution of Google Ads campaigns (YouTube, Search and Display) for lead generation. - Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and A/B testing to improve campaign performance. - Monitor and report on campaign metrics including CTR, CPL, conversion rates, and ROI. - Client Marketing & Engagement - Support client communication initiatives including newsletters, product updates, and marketing collateral generation. - Assist Client Success in developing strategies to increase client adoption and retention. - Collaborate with Client Success, Implementation, and Product teams to align messaging and outreach efforts. - Analytics & Reporting - Track and analyze marketing performance data to identify trends and optimization opportunities. - Build reports and/or dashboards to communicate campaign results and insights. - Use data to inform recommendations for improving campaign effectiveness. Qualifications - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. - Strong interest in digital marketing, paid media, and B2B lead generation. - Basic understanding of LinkedIn Ads and/or Google Ads (coursework or certifications a plus). - Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT or similar) and curiosity about their application in marketing. - Familiarity with online design tools like Canva. - Strong communication skills. - Detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. - Willingness to make a big impact on a small team with large ambitions. Content Development & Review - Partner with instructional designers to build, review, audit, and update eLearning modules aligned with the 2026 Health & Safety and OSHA compliance roadmap. - Ensure accuracy, compliance, and relevance of course material based on current regulations, practices, and certification standards. - Provide expert recommendations to enhance learning experiences, ensuring content is clear, actionable, and aligned with industry best practices. - Conduct quality reviews and suggest updates as new industry data, regulations, or trends emerge. 2. Trend Analysis & Thought Leadership - Monitor emerging trends, technologies, and innovations in the food manufacturing and safety sectors. - Advise the content team on timely topics for new learning modules or micro-learning series. - Contribute to marketing initiatives by authoring short articles or participating in webinars, bringing expert insights to broader audiences. 3. Standards & Certification Alignment - Serve as a guide in developing learning paths for key safety certifications, including OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour outreach training requirements. - Help map WorkForge’s eLearning catalog to ISO 45001 standards and VPP (Voluntary Protection Programs) to create cohesive and role-specific learning journeys. - Provide structured recommendations for aligning content to job roles within food manufacturing, auditing, and compliance functions. 4. Collaboration & Project Partnership - Work cross-functionally with content developers, learning designers, and marketing teams to ensure technical accuracy and instructional effectiveness. - Provide timely feedback and input during content development cycles. - Occasionally support internal training and orientation sessions for instructional teams on core food safety topics or changes in regulatory frameworks. Required Skills & Abilities Proven professional experience in Occupational Health & Safety (EHS), risk management, or safety auditing within industrial or construction environments. Deep understanding of OSHA regulations, reporting requirements (300 logs), and hazard communication standards. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical standards into accessible learning content. Strong attention to detail, research ability, and commitment to accuracy. Proficient in remote collaboration tools (Teams, Google Workspace, etc.). Preferred Qualifications Experience contributing to training or eLearning initiatives. Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), or OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer. Familiarity with instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies. Published writing, speaking engagements, or webinar participation in the food safety field.
