• Creates final mechanicals with attention to composition, color, typography and visual impact • Designs and executes mechanicals, based on client specification, brand standards, budget constraints and final format needed for file output • Determines size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, selects style and size of type, and arranges layout based upon specs and aesthetic design concepts • Presents sample to Creative Director for approval • Provides final pre-flight of digital files that are delivered to clients and vendors to ensure the accuracy of the completed project • Reviews proofs for highest levels of quality and accuracy • Uses a wide range of media, including photography • Keeps abreast of developments in marketing and advertising environments • Contributes ideas and design artwork to the overall brief • Other duties as assigned
Associate Creative Director

• Attend strategy meetings for new business with clients and internal partners • Meet with creative team to check the status of current projects and assign new projects • Lead brainstorming sessions with creative team to develop ad campaigns based on clients’ needs • Evaluate the work and work hands on with the team to develop creative assets that meet the visual and copy objectives of the campaign • Create advertising proposals for clients • Pitch concepts to clients • Work closely with Creative Directors and other marketing professionals to achieve world-class creative execution • Work with Account Management team to make sure clients’ needs are being met and creative goals are on track • Manage the creative team from concept to completion of projects with strong leadership • Lead and facilitate a variety of different creative, design, multimedia, production and marketing responsibilities while staying within the overall strategic vision outlined by company executives • Other duties as assigned
• Manages client needs and responsibilities along with the profitability and growth of an average of 3-5 accounts for West Cary Group. • Execute strategic and tactical planning to meet client needs • Maintain project budgets and administration to achieve sales profitability • Contribute to new business opportunities, including idea contribution, research and proposal preparation • Oversee strategic planning and creative development/execution • Establish and manage program budgets and timelines to ensure overall profitability and financial target achievement • Develop new opportunities to grow the client’s business through proactive relationship management, word of mouth referrals and going above and beyond surface expectations. • Collaborate consistently and productively with the creative team to deliver high quality, on time branding and marketing solutions • Awareness of marketing trends and innovations • Other duties as assigned
• Attend strategy meetings and partner with the account director on the goals and health of the client relationship • Interface with the client through all stages of the creative process and partner with the account director to represent the agency in client meetings • Provide creative strategy for meeting the client’s goals and objectives • Manage the creative team and process for current projects and assign new projects • Lead brainstorming sessions to develop campaigns based on client goals • Create proposals, estimate hours and help define project scope • Participate in client pitches and lead the creative team in presentations • Consistently bring innovative creative solutions and design application to inspire the team’s work • Work closely with the Executive Creative Director to achieve world-class creative execution
