• Working closely with Resource Managers, engagement teams and other stakeholders, you will support the day-to-day resourcing workflow, providing guidance, insight and solutions that contribute to effective utilisation and an excellent colleague experience. • Coordinate day-to-day resource allocation across teams, ensuring work is assigned effectively to meet business priorities and client needs. • Match people to assignments based on skills, availability, development opportunities and capacity. • Act as a key point of contact for engagement teams, providing guidance on resource availability and scheduling requirements. • Monitor resource utilisation and identify potential scheduling conflicts, capacity risks and booking challenges. • Support the successful onboarding of new joiners through timely allocation to client work and projects. • Contribute to continuous improvement of resourcing processes, helping to enhance efficiency, accuracy and the overall user experience.

• Manage a portfolio of more complex business tax clients within your relevant specialism, including reviewing tax returns, computations, and tax accounting disclosures • Signing out tax returns for more complex clients working independently from the director or partner • Pillar 2 compliance and advisory services • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact for all tax matters • Provide expert advice and guidance on a range of business tax issues, including corporate tax planning, restructuring, and compliance • Assist with tax investigations and disputes, liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients • Work closely with other departments within the firm, building your internal network • Assist with business development activities, including identifying opportunities to cross-sell services to existing clients and generating new business leads • Contribute to the development and improvement of our ways of working within the firm alongside other members of the manager group

• You'll take ownership of a diverse portfolio of trusts and estates, acting as the trusted adviser and primary point of contact for clients, trustees and professional intermediaries. • Manage a portfolio of UK trusts and estates, delivering a first-class client experience. • Review and oversee trust tax returns and annual compliance obligations. • Review trust accounts and ensure all reporting requirements are met accurately and efficiently. • Support Partners and Directors on trust planning, inheritance tax planning and wider private client advisory projects. • Manage trust account administration. • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients and third-party advisers. • Coach, mentor and develop junior team members, helping them grow their technical and commercial skills. • Identify opportunities to add value and deliver proactive advice that makes a genuine difference to clients.

Role Description We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our R&D team as an R&D Manager. A day in the life of an IT R&D Manager includes: - Be one of our “Delivery Leads” on claims across Software /IT clients, looking after and owning a portfolio of claims. - Work collaboratively with our senior managers who will support you on claims. - Build fantastic relationships with clients delivering outstanding service. - Lead the technical and financial aspects of R&D claims. - Seek opportunities to support senior members of the team on practice development initiatives, be that training, wellbeing, marketing etc. - Understand how the R&D business runs, top-to-bottom and inside-out. - Have a structured approach where expectations are clear and create a culture of safety where people feel empowered to ask for help. • Providing advisory work to our HNW individuals, typically either FT100 Directors, city professionals or well-known sports and media personalities. • Leading bespoke planning projects including shareholder tax planning and transaction‑related advisory. • Managing and growing a diverse portfolio of private clients. • Building strong client relationships and identifying new advisory opportunities. • Overseeing compliance delivery and mentoring junior team members.

• Owning and evolving the end-to-end data architecture, aligned to Cooper Parry’s strategy and enterprise standards • Defining architectural patterns, principles, and standards for: Data ingestion, Data transformation, Data modelling, Analytics and reporting • Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on data architecture decisions • Designing and oversee solutions using Microsoft Fabric, including: OneLake Lakehouse and Warehouse architectures, Data Pipelines, Spark / Notebooks, Semantic models • Ensuring platform scalability, performance optimisation, cost efficiency, and security • Guiding the transition from legacy platforms where applicable • Providing technical leadership across data engineering practices, including: Batch and streaming data pipelines, ELT/ETL frameworks, CI/CD for data platforms • Architecting robust integrations from internal and third-party systems • Defining data quality, validation, and monitoring standards • Defining and enforcing: Data governance frameworks, Master and reference data strategies, Access control and role-based security • Ensuring compliance with GDPR and organisational security standards • Promoting high data quality and lineage transparency • Working closely with: Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, BI Developers, Product and Business stakeholders • Mentoring and upskill team members • Reviewing solution designs and providing constructive architectural guidance
