Role Description Wayfinder is seeking a Senior Product Designer contractor to help shape the future of our web platform by designing new and evolving features that support students, educators, and school communities. - The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of experience designing digital products in the education space. - Comfortable owning the full design lifecycle, from research and concepting through delivery. - Strong understanding of the needs of students, teachers, and administrators. - Ability to translate insights into thoughtful, usable product experiences. - This is a seasonal, contractor opportunity with an anticipated 3-month timeframe of work needed. - If interested in full-time employment, please see currently open opportunities on our Careers page. - We strongly encourage people from traditionally underrepresented populations in tech to apply. Qualifications - Minimum of 5-7 years of demonstrated experience with UI and UX design. - A strong portfolio of case studies and relevant work samples. - Proficiency with Figma. - A track record of working with educators, designers, and engineers to create coherent and intuitive user experiences. - Ability to work independently with general supervision and willing to receive feedback/guidance. - Experience supporting design research projects, usability studies, and customer engagements. - Experience working directly with customers/stakeholders and interpreting their feedback. - Outstanding time-management skills and experience/comfort working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - An entrepreneurial mindset and a bias towards action. - Fluency in written and spoken English. Preferred experience - An undergraduate degree or equivalent in product design, interaction design, software engineering, user experience, or a related discipline. - Experience designing features for AI-enabled workflows, and leveraging AI to streamline user experience. - Experience with fast-moving, startup environments. Compensation - Hourly rate between $45-70/hr, commensurate with experience. Location - Remote work. Wayfinder’s regular operating hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Role Wayfinder is seeking a seasonal Product Support Associate to deliver timely, high-quality support to our users. This role will handle high-volume, detail-oriented operational tasks, including rostering users, managing licenses, updating permissions, and working with spreadsheets and system data. This role will play an integral part in the Product Support team’s ability to deliver excellent customer and technical service. Our ideal candidate is technically literate, highly detail-oriented, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments where they manage multiple incoming requests simultaneously. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys structured, procedural, precision-based work involving spreadsheets, user systems, and ticket-based workflows. This is a full-time, seasonal position. This person will be expected to work up to 40 hours each week. The estimated duration for this position is May 2026 - October 2026. The seasonal Product Support Associate will report to the Product Manager, Operations. Responsibilities - Manage and reduce support ticket backlog while addressing incoming requests in a timely manner - Provide on-demand, time-sensitive rostering support to users - Handle manual user additions, license assignments, and perform quality checks - Document and navigate Salesforce workflows to track, update, and resolve customer requests - Maintain and troubleshoot failed or errored data imports - Support demo account setup and management - Provide coverage for the rostering slack channels and respond to internal questions - Assist in identifying recurring issues and suggest process improvements

The ideal candidate will maintain keen attention to detail while operating in a fast-moving startup environment. The Operations Associate will contribute to Wayfinder financial operations, sales operations, and business operations efforts. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, the Operations Associate should be highly adaptable and able to make contributions across a wide range of projects. This is an ideal role for someone interested in developing a broad skill set and wanting to get a front row seat to the behind-the-scenes operations of a fast-growing, venture-backed EdTech startup. • Own and execute regional account strategy to drive new partnerships and expand Wayfinder’s impact • Build and maintain strong relationships with district and school leaders, grounded in an understanding of K–12 challenges and trends • Identify partner needs and position Wayfinder as a strategic, mission-aligned solution • Proactively source, develop, and close new district and school partnerships through intentional outbound efforts • Lead 4–6 meaningful daily conversations with educators and district leaders to build alignment around purpose learning and Wayfinder’s model • Serve as a consultative problem-solver, supporting schools through the partnership journey and addressing barriers to adoption • Represent Wayfinder onsite and at conferences with prospective partners • Scope, negotiate, and close partnership agreements to meet or exceed revenue targets • Maintain accurate pipeline and account data in Salesforce and leverage existing partners to drive regional growth • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, implementation, and marketing teams to deepen engagement across target accounts
