• Serve as the primary contact for internal employees experiencing system issues or requesting application support. • Manage incident tickets from initial contact through resolution, ensuring timely responses based on service levels agreement. • Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical business users. • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders during issue resolution. • Maintain professional, empathetic communication during system outages or user frustration. • Immediately identify and escalate major incidents (system-wide downtime, major performance issues) following established procedures. • Learn company applications and business workflows through training and guided and exploratory testing. • Guide users through standard processes and basic troubleshooting steps. • Reproduce reported issues in test environments to validate problems and gather details for development teams. • Use basic SQL queries to locate and interpret user data related to reported issues. • Document all user interactions, solutions, and escalations for knowledge sharing and audit purposes.

• Provide technical direction and mentorship to up to 2 teams of software engineers, around 12 engineers. • Architect and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services (Lambda, EKS, DynamoDB, Step Functions, RDS, SNS/SQS). • Manage the team’s engineering process, ensuring it adheres to the company’s guidelines. • Act as scrum master for the team, ensuring ceremonies are performed and managing the team performance. • Provide estimates for new features and manage the dates, by communicating and delivering on time. • Conduct interviews on the hiring processes. • Drive CI/CD, test automation, and observability practices across the team. • Collaborate with product managers to align priorities and solutions. • Observe and enforce the standards set by the Architects. • Provide Level 3 support for the supported services in close collaboration with the Support team. • Work with DevOps, DBAs and Infra to resolve incidents in the supported services. • Enforce the security standards of the company. • Promote engineering best practices and uphold code quality standards. • Monitor application KPIs and support continuous improvement initiatives. • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning. • Lead and mentor software engineers, providing guidance on technical and professional development. • Conduct performance reviews. • Oversee team performance, ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions. • Encourage collaboration and accountability within the engineering team.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain backend services and APIs supporting financial systems and integrations. • Develop solutions using Python, Java, and/or Node.js within microservices architectures. • Build and maintain REST, GraphQL, and SOAP APIs (including Spring Boot-based services). • Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Redis. • Develop and maintain cloud-native applications in AWS environments. • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and contribute to DevOps best practices. • Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, debugging, and investigation of production issues. • Maintain and improve legacy codebases when required. • Implement automated tests and ensure strong quality assurance practices (unit, integration, and regression testing). • Monitor and support applications in production environments. • Collaborate closely with Product, DBA, DevOps, Infrastructure, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable solutions. • Contribute to technical design discussions and propose improvements to architecture, performance, scalability, and maintainability. • Produce and maintain technical documentation. • Support integrations with ERP systems and other financial platforms.
