Senior Software Developer - Frontend

Role Description TripArc's ADX platform is the daily booking tool for thousands of North American travel advisors. This is a Senior Front-End Application Developer role focused on enhancing the existing platform while building new features. - Combine architectural thinking with a UX designer’s mindset. - Build elegant, scalable, and high-performance user experiences. - Investigate problems, propose solutions, and scope work in collaboration with Product and QA. - Use AI coding tools as a standard part of development. Qualifications - 5+ years of professional experience developing single-page applications (SPAs) in production environments. - SQL Server fluency: complex queries, stored procedures, schema navigation. - Deep expertise in Angular, TypeScript, and MFE architecture. - Proven fluency in modern CSS (SCSS, CSS variables, responsive design systems, and Material Design 3/custom design tokens). - Proficiency in Figma and hands-on experience with Figma Make or similar automation tooling. - Solid understanding of front-end architecture, state management, and performance optimization in large-scale web applications. - Familiarity with version control (Git/GitHub) and modern CI/CD pipelines. - Comfort working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams (Product, UX, QA, and Backend). - Comfort working in a mature, high-volume platform. - Use AI development tools as standard workflow. - Nice to have: React, Next.js, MongoDB, Docker/Kubernetes, Azure Pipelines, NServiceBus, .NET APIs, and Azure DevOps. Requirements - Advisor-facing feature enhancements across existing ADX. - Design, architect, and build high-quality, scalable front-end applications using Angular, React, and Next.js. - Frontend contributions: Angular components and workflows within the existing ADX MFE shell. - Collaborate with design partners to translate high-fidelity Figma prototypes into performant, accessible, and responsive experiences. - Push CSS to its limits for advanced layout techniques and animations. - Work closely with architects and product managers to plan, estimate, and deliver high-impact features. - Define and enforce front-end best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns. - Evaluate emerging technologies and tools that enhance developer productivity. - Platform reliability and supportability — fixing brittle components and improving team efficiency. - Cross-platform integrations across ADX, TSP, and connected services. - Sprint-based delivery with direct input on scope and estimates. Role Description We are looking for a QA Analyst to join our distributed QA team in a role centered on production deployment support. You will be the quality gate during live platform releases across multiple systems, working closely with developers and delivery teams to validate that every deployment lands cleanly. Beyond deployments, you will contribute to day-to-day QA across our platforms: - Writing test cases - Running API tests - Reporting defects with precision Key Responsibilities - Own QA sign-off during live production deployments, providing real-time validation and clear go/no-go communication to the delivery team - Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers to understand requirements and define test strategies ahead of release - Write and maintain well-structured test cases and test plans in Xray - Report defects in Jira with clear reproduction steps, environment context, and expected vs. actual outcomes - Conduct API testing in Postman, including pre-request scripts and environment configuration - Use SQL queries to validate data and support backend testing Qualifications - 4+ years in software QA with a track record of owning quality end-to-end - Demonstrated experience supporting or participating in production deployments; calm, methodical, and decisive under time pressure - Strong API testing skills using Postman or similar tools, including pre-request script authoring - Solid working knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend test support - Clear, precise written communication; defect reports do not leave developers guessing - Comfortable working independently within a distributed team - BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Nice to have - Familiarity with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) or Selenium WebDriver; exposure here is an asset Technologies & Tools we use - Postman - Jira - Xray - SQL Server - Azure - Chrome DevTools Benefits - Competitive compensation package with a strong pay-for-performance rewards approach - Opportunity to participate in incentive programs and compensation tied to business and individual performance
