• The **Area Manager** brings a strong project management competency level with experience to support effective completion of all projects within their assigned geographic area. • The **Area Manager** brings an advanced level of business acumen in working with clients and interfacing with clientele on a regular basis, representing our brand with integrity and multidisciplinary expertise. • The **Area Manager** will actively lead and drive the growth of business development opportunities for Waggoner Engineering. • The **Area Manager** will identify, train, and develop leaders within the company and set them on the path for management. • The **Area Manager** will maintain a working knowledge of all phases of operations within their assigned geographic area, coordinate to support operations throughout the business, and provide regular performance updates to the senior leadership team. • The **Area Manager** will create and implement a strategic one-page plan to help track Waggoner and Trilon company KPIs. • The **Area Manager** will work closely with Human Resources and the Senior Leadership team to define and implement operational strategy, structure, processes, and successful performance. • The **Area Manager** will provide oversight and strategic guidance related to project budgets, financial performance, and resource planning. • The **Area Manager** will support the Vice President with financial reporting responsibilities and performance monitoring to identify efficiency issues and propose solutions proactively. • The **Area Manager** will guide, direct, and evaluate the work of all Project Managers within their assigned geographic area. • The **Area Manager** will monitor cash flow of their assigned geographic area and work with Project Accountants and Project Managers to ensure timely payment from clients.

• This role is the project management backbone of the AI Innovation & Applied Technology team — running the day-to-day mechanics of a fast-moving R&D function so the VP and the team can stay focused on discovery, architecture, and the next bet. Equal parts pipeline organizer, project orchestrator, and operational glue. • Own the pipeline view- Maintain the master view of everything in flight across the team — discoveries, prototypes, applied research, vendor rationalization, architecture deep-dives — with status, owners, dependencies, and what’s coming next. The single source of truth for ‘what’s the team actually working on.’ • Organize the on-site discoveries- When the team takes on a project deep-dive — evaluating a vendor, scoping an applied effort, mapping a new architecture pattern — pull together the working materials, frame the agenda, line up the inputs, and own the artifacts the team produces. Make it easy for the VP and the team to walk into a discovery ready and walk out with documented decisions. • Run the operating cadence- Drive the team’s rhythm of meetings — leadership working sessions, partner reviews, internal stakeholder updates — with crisp agendas, decisions documented, action items chased, and a documentation library that doesn’t go stale. Logistics, calendar, travel, and meeting support for the team are part of the package, but they’re the floor, not the ceiling. • Get fluent in the craft- The team works at the intersection of product strategy, solution architecture, business architecture, and enterprise architecture — and the right person for this seat will spend real time learning how those disciplines come together to shape what the company builds. A genuine on ramp into product, architecture, or innovation leadership for someone hungry to grow there.

• Develop structural calculations and produce engineering drawings for both Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build projects related to bridge and transportation structures. • Perform and direct engineering alternatives investigations through the collection and analysis of data, performing calculations, and evaluation of alternate solutions. • Prepare written technical reports. • Support construction phase of projects, including responding to RFI’s, review of shop drawings, problem solving, etc. • Train and mentor junior engineers.

• Performs engineering analysis and design for bridges and related structures, including new construction and rehabilitation. • Conducts assessment and evaluation of existing bridge structural conditions and develops recommended remedial measures. • Performs as-design, as-built, and condition bridge load ratings in accordance with governing AASHTO and client specifications. • Prepares construction plans, specifications, and contract documents for contracting and bidding of construction projects. • Performs construction phase engineering, including periodic on-site reviews, in collaboration with the Construction Services team. • Understands typical bridge constructability areas of focus, including multi-phased construction, transportation, and erection of various bridge components. • Maintains and documents written and verbal communications with clients throughout the development and completion of a project. • Conducts project status review with project manager and team members, checking accuracy of work completed, and monitors timeliness of project completion. • Attends meetings on project management. • Assists Project Managers with administrative duties concerning completion of assigned projects, including review of schedules, scopes and budgets. • Assists Project Manager in preparation of engineering studies and reports. • Provides technical guidance and training to members of the project team. • Prepares project design using sound engineering principles, engineering software and tools. • Assists in preparation of contract documents and technical specifications. • Assists Project Manager in assuring quality control procedures are performed. • Maintains responsibility for the accuracy of each segment of the work and the final check of the work. • Maintains responsibility for adherence to applicable codes.

• Serve as Structures Project Manager, Engineer of Record, or Design Lead on multi-disciplined transportation projects using both conventional and alternative delivery methods • Serve as Technical Structures Design Lead for all aspects of bridge design and plans preparation • Direct engineering alternatives investigations through the collection and analysis of data, performing calculations, and evaluation of alternate solutions • Direct planning, design and production of structural calculations, written reports, engineering drawings, and specifications for projects related to bridge and transportation structures • Perform technical reviews (QA/QC) of structural calculations, written reports, engineering drawings, and specifications ensuring appropriate design criteria, procedures and guidelines are followed • Lead marketing efforts for bridge project pursuits including FDOT Letters of Response, Presentations and Technical Interviews • Support construction phase of projects, including responding to RFI’s, review of shop drawings, problem solving, etc. • Train and mentor junior engineers

• Design, build, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native • Develop intuitive user interfaces for field data capture and interaction • Ensure high performance and responsiveness across a range of mobile devices • Maintain code quality, testing, and application stability • Design and implement offline-capable workflows for unreliable connectivity environments • Build robust data synchronization mechanisms between mobile devices and backend systems • Handle conflict resolution, data integrity, and retry logic for field-collected data • Optimize performance for low-bandwidth and intermittent network conditions • Integrate with device capabilities such as GPS, camera, photo capture, and sensors • Build workflows for capturing, storing, and transmitting images and geospatial data • Ensure seamless interaction between native modules and React Native components • Integrate mobile applications with backend APIs and platform services • Ensure field data flows cleanly into the data and AI layers of the platform • Collaborate with backend and AI engineers to support end-to-end workflows • Maintain consistency with platform architecture and data models • Partner with the Senior Product Designer to implement consistent, intuitive user experiences • Work with Product Support Analysts to identify usability issues and friction points • Incorporate feedback from field users to improve workflows and adoption • Build and maintain mobile CI/CD pipelines for iOS and Android deployments • Manage app releases, versioning, and distribution processes • Monitor application performance and resolve production issues

• Lead design efforts for and support Project Managers manage an array of small to large rail projects simultaneously. • Assist the Project Manager assign and train junior staff to work proficiently in CAD to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. • Attend client meetings and support the strengthening of client relationships by contributing to meetings and delivering projects successfully. • Coordinate with governing agencies across multiple states to ensure compliance with relevant regulations. • Implement quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures throughout project development. • Work closely with Project Managers to gain deeper understanding of business practices and grow into Project management. • Travel occasionally to rail project sites, in person client meeting, and industry conferences. • Perform other duties as needed.

• Receive and manage support requests from engineers, project managers, and field staff • Diagnose issues and categorize them as bugs, user errors, training gaps, or product gaps • Gather sufficient detail to ensure issues can be understood, reproduced, and resolved • Route issues to the appropriate Product Manager, engineer, or enablement resource • Capture qualitative and quantitative feedback from users across the platform • Identify recurring issues, patterns, and areas of friction • Distinguish between one-off issues and systemic product problems • Ensure user signal is clearly communicated to the product and engineering teams • Develop and maintain training materials for newly released tools and features • Create clear, practical documentation, guides, and walkthroughs based on real user needs • Translate common issues and questions into reusable training content • Continuously update training materials based on product changes and user feedback • Partner with Product Managers to ensure recurring issues inform backlog prioritization • Work with Lead Engineers to communicate bugs with clear technical context • Collaborate with the AI Enablement Manager to identify training or onboarding gaps • Support alignment between support insights and product improvements • Maintain a structured record of issues, resolutions, and trends • Track issue status, resolution timelines, and recurring themes • Build and maintain documentation that provides visibility into platform performance • Ensure consistency in how issues are logged, categorized, and reported • Analyze support data to identify patterns and systemic issues • Provide regular summaries of key insights to product and engineering leadership • Highlight areas where product design, performance, or training needs improvement • Contribute to a continuous feedback loop between users and builders • Identify opportunities to improve support processes, tools, and workflows • Help refine intake, triage, and escalation practices as the platform scales • Contribute to building a more proactive and insight-driven support function

• Own the full quality lifecycle for your product pod, from test planning through production sign-off • Define acceptance criteria in partnership with engineers and product managers • Design comprehensive test strategies that cover functionality, performance, and reliability • Establish and maintain quality standards for all deliverables • Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for APIs, services, and user interfaces • Develop regression tests to detect issues as systems evolve • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous validation • Write clean, maintainable test code that scales with the product • Design and implement testing approaches for AI-generated outputs, including prompt evaluation and RAG validation • Define evaluation criteria and benchmarks for accuracy, consistency, and usefulness • Monitor for quality drift as models, prompts, or data sources change • Partner with engineers to improve output reliability and performance • Identify, document, and track bugs and quality issues across the stack • Work closely with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve defects early in the development cycle • Prioritize issues based on impact and risk to end users • Validate that all features meet acceptance criteria and quality standards before release • Assess production readiness, including performance, reliability, and edge cases • Serve as the final sign-off authority for releases within the pod • Partner with Lead Engineers, Applied AI Engineers, and Product Managers to improve development and testing practices • Engage with operating company users to understand real-world expectations and feedback • Continuously improve testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks

• Provide regional leadership for railroad projects and support strategic growth initiatives within the assigned region. • Lead the planning, design, coordination, and delivery of a variety of rail projects including industry track, terminals, spurs, mainlines, yards, and sidings. • Coordinate with railroad companies for the delivery of a variety of DOT and municipal public agency projects involving railroad interface for at-grade crossings, grade-separated structures, and utility crossings. • Serve as a senior technical resource and advisor for rail design (geometry, material, etc.), grading, drainage, and related infrastructure. • Build and strengthen relationships with clients, railroad operators, public agencies, and industry partners across the region. • Support business development activities including client engagement, proposal development, project pursuits, and participation in industry organizations and conferences. • Provide mentorship, leadership, and technical guidance to engineers, designers, and junior staff across multiple offices and project teams. • Collaborate with Project Managers and regional leadership to support staffing strategies, resource planning, and operational efficiency. • Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies across multiple states to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and railroad standards. • Lead implementation and enforcement of quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures throughout project development and delivery. • Support the continued development and standardization of rail engineering and coordination practices, design procedures, and project delivery processes across the company. • Travel periodically for client meetings, project site visits, regional coordination, and industry events. • Perform other duties as needed.
