We’re looking for a Bilingual School Liaison Advisor, In-School Program (6 month contract starting September 2026). This position seeks candidates with substantial experience in educational leadership, such as serving as a school principal, vice principal, or teacher. Candidates should have a strong understanding of Quebec’s educational landscape or experience working with key regional stakeholders, including school boards and service centres in Quebec. As the Bilingual School Liaison Advisor you will be liaising with school administrators and district leaders to share information about the Foundation’s Youth Leadership and Social Emotional Learning Program. This will include: - Outreach to schools and districts - Virtual information sharing meetings - Coordination of program schedules - Planning for program expansion to new areas - Ongoing correspondence with schools and Foundation staff This position will require communication with stakeholders who operate fluently (written and oral) in both French and English. As a result, knowledge of English (written and oral) is required for the performance of these duties. Work Location: It is expected that this role will work remotely from the Province of Quebec. Travel to the St. George, Ontario; Toronto Ontario; Montreal, Quebec; and Quyon, Quebec may be required periodically. Posting Type: This is a full-time six (6) month contract with an anticipated start date of September 2026. What would you be doing? - Establish regional roll out and execution strategy for the THFC In-School program in Quebec. - Identify and cultivate relationships with school partners (teachers, administrators, senior leadership etc.) to implement program during the 2026/2027 school year. - Establish formal partnership agreements with school boards in identified priority regions. - Ensure program delivery partners and sponsoring organizations are aligned with the Tims Camps youth engagement framework, charitable purpose mission, vision, and values. - Set multi-year growth plans and impact targets. - Build contingency plans for program roll-out based on challenges and opportunities identified through the development and implementation of the program. - Support hiring and onboarding process of operational field staff to execute program once roll out is established. - Create communication materials and provide regular reports regarding the Quebec regional roll out to internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications - Advanced University degree and/or college background in related field or equivalent experience. - Good working knowledge of Ministere de l’Education Quebec, school districts across the province of Quebec, and French language school districts across Canada. - Previous or current experience working in senior level roles in public education. - 10+ years’ experience in providing leadership and/or oversight to youth programming. - Bilingual in French and English required. - Ability to exercise and leverage strategic acumen in education and political contexts. - Strong judgement, critical thinking, and decision-making skills, and the ability to solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to conduct and/or coordinate research, craft backgrounders, briefs and reports. - Demonstrated experience in systems thinking, change management, people management, coaching, and development. - Superior written and oral communication skills with strong time management, project management, and organizational skills across multiple priorities and projects. - Strong digital literacy skills and a command of a variety of information and communication technologies. - Acceptable Criminal Record Search. - Ability to travel across Canada. Customer Service - Contribute to the planning and delivery of the program and work collaboratively with functional teams when required. - For a variety of different user groups, display excellence in facilitation, group management and oversee the instructional program. - As an agent for Tims Camps in the community, ensure a consistent front-line hospitable and customer service-oriented presence. - Participate in and support restaurant owner engagement initiatives including the planning and delivery of camp events. Work collaboratively with the THFC communications team. - Ensure program areas, activity spaces and program equipment are ready and available for safe participant use. This includes inventory, maintenance schedules, etc. - Complete assigned administrative duties. - Support cross functional tasks as required. - Build and foster positive relationships with teachers, administrators, and other education stakeholders. Risk Management - Be accountable for risk assessment and implementation of Tims Camps safety standards/protocols/procedures which includes teaching and monitoring safe implementation of activity-based learning. - Ensure staff and participants are following proper safety standards and/or guidelines that apply to work in a school or community setting. - Complete emergency response training and ensure clear understanding of assigned responsibilities while working on location/site. - Follow direction from THFC risk management teams on protocols and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS - University degree and/or college background in Education, Outdoor Experiential Education or related field/similar experience. Bachelor of Education degree considered an asset. - Superior written and oral communication skills with strong time management, project management, and organizational skills across multiple priorities and projects. - 3+ years of experience working with children/youth of various abilities, preferably in an education and/or outdoor/camp setting. - Skilled in behaviour management and problem solving. - Ability to exercise good judgement and professionalism when interacting with schools and community groups. - Demonstrated excellence in program facilitation. - Access to a personal vehicle and licensed with a valid G Class Driver’s License, or equivalent (required).Must have an acceptable driver’s abstract. - Must have, or be able to obtain upon hire, the required level of third-party business class liability insurance coverage for the role. - Daily travel required within designated geographic area. - Must be able to work a flexible schedule which could include working early mornings, evenings and weekends. - Up to 50% travel to locations across Canada will be required. - Current Standard First Aid/CPR-C certification considered an asset. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Are legally eligible to work in Canada. - Able to provide an acceptable criminal background check or vulnerable sector check. - Bilingual in French and English considered an asset. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Youth engagement - Develop, deliver, review, and improve creative and innovative programming to be delivered at schools and community locations for high quality program experiences ensuring alignment with outcomes and program quality frameworks. - Foster a culture of innovation and creativity through building outcome specific, engaging, creative, fun and interactive programs. - Facilitate programs based on Tims Camps program curriculum, standards, and local operating procedures. - Evaluate programs and the delivery of them via the TIMpact365 measurement strategy. - Provide direction and guidance to participants that celebrates their differences and plans for their success. - Ensure participants are engaged and recognized for their contributions and achievements. - Provide support to participants, staff and educators in assisting with participant behaviour management issues. - Contribute to digital and social media creation efforts to support youth engagement and preparedness. - Support National Field Team Lead and Facilitation and Instruction Lead, with finalizing program schedules, purchasing, inventory updates, and completing assigned documentation. - Complete progress reports and all necessary documentation in Salesforce. Ensure all Tims Camps Salesforce practices are maintained. - Support with communication to parents, guardians and schools as directed/needed. Customer Service - Contribute to the planning and delivery of the program and work collaboratively with functional teams when required. - For a variety of different user groups, display excellence in facilitation, group management and oversee the instructional program. - As an agent for Tims Camps in the community, ensure a consistent front-line hospitable and customer service-oriented presence. - Participate in and support restaurant owner engagement initiatives including the planning and delivery of camp events. Work collaboratively with the THFC communications team. - Ensure program areas, activity spaces and program equipment are ready and available for safe participant use. This includes inventory, maintenance schedules, etc. - Complete assigned administrative duties. - Support cross functional tasks as required. - Build and foster positive relationships with teachers, administrators, and other education stakeholders. Risk Management - Be accountable for risk assessment and implementation of Tims Camps safety standards/protocols/procedures which includes teaching and monitoring safe implementation of activity-based learning. - Ensure staff and participants are following proper safety standards and/or guidelines that apply to work in a school or community setting. - Complete emergency response training and ensure clear understanding of assigned responsibilities while working on location/site. - Follow direction from THFC risk management teams on protocols and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS - University degree and/or college background in Education, Outdoor Experiential Education or related field/similar experience. Bachelor of Education degree considered an asset. - Superior written and oral communication skills with strong time management, project management, and organizational skills across multiple priorities and projects. - 3+ years of experience working with children/youth of various abilities, preferably in an education and/or outdoor/camp setting. - Skilled in behaviour management and problem solving. - Ability to exercise good judgement and professionalism when interacting with schools and community groups. - Demonstrated excellence in program facilitation. - Access to a personal vehicle and licensed with a valid G Class Driver’s License, or equivalent (required).Must have an acceptable driver’s abstract. - Must have, or be able to obtain upon hire, the required level of third-party business class liability insurance coverage for the role. - Daily travel required within designated geographic area. - Must be able to work a flexible schedule which could include working early mornings, evenings and weekends. - Up to 50% travel to locations across Canada will be required. - Current Standard First Aid/CPR-C certification considered an asset. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Are legally eligible to work in Canada. - Able to provide an acceptable criminal background check or vulnerable sector check. - Bilingual in French and English considered an asset. Job Summary The Program Lead is responsible for driving the successful implementation, management, and continuous improvement of the In-Community/Classrooms program and operations in their assigned region. This role ensures that programmatic goals are met with excellence, operational systems are efficient and aligned with organizational standards, and regional teams are supported, resourced, and accountable. The Program Lead is responsible for ensuring participants engage in high quality programming and have a positive program experience for long term impact. The Program Lead role applies their knowledge of youth development, outdoor and experiential education, program quality systems, and demonstrated excellence in coaching and facilitation to provide direction and support to their team and the communities serve. This role delivers program and supervises team members in the classroom. The Program Lead reports to the National Field Team Lead and will work collaboratively with the operations, impact, and facilitation and instruction teams to ensure a safe and impactful program experiences for all participants, as well as meaningful opportunities for stakeholder engagement. Regional Operations Oversight - Develop and maintain operational systems that support scalability, efficiency, and accountability for in-community program operations. - Provide input into forecasting and strategic planning. - Ensure region-specific risk management policies and procedures are implemented and followed. - Ensure the health, safety, risk management and emergency preparedness of in-community delivery centres. - Act as the primary regional lead. Follow the established escalation chart in the event of an emergency. - Ensure training and competency of all team members with respect to risk management, health and safety, and emergency procedures. - Be accountable for risk assessment and implementation of Tims Camps safety standards/protocols/procedures. - Ensure staff and participants are following proper safety standards and or guidelines that apply to work in a school/community setting. - Complete emergency response training and ensure clear understanding of assigned responsibilities while working on location/site. - Ensure communication, registration, and all applicable paperwork is collected and complete for programming. - Complete all necessary documentation in Salesforce. Team Leadership & Development - Provide positive and constructive feedback and ongoing facilitation coaching and support to staff. - Support the delivery of staff training and the recruitment process as assigned. - Assist with the supervision and evaluation of staff. Stakeholder Engagement - Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, Restaurant Owners, schools, educators, and other key stakeholders. - Represent Tims Camps at local events, meetings, and public forums. Ensure consistent front-line hospitable and customer service-oriented presence. - Seek opportunities to engage with Restaurant Owners and other stakeholders to promote the program. - Work collaboratively with Communications and Fundraising teams to support engagement and promotional campaigns. - Collaborate cross-functionally with centralized support teams to align regional and organizational strategies. QUALIFICATIONS - University degree and/or college background in education, nonprofit management, outdoor recreation or related field. Bachelor of Education degree considered an asset. - 5 years of related experience in program delivery, education, camp, management and/or operations – preferably in nonprofit, education, or youth development settings - Bilingual (French and English) is required. - Demonstrated excellence in ability to lead groups of children/classrooms through engaging facilitation and program delivery skills. - Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Access to a personal vehicle and licensed with a valid G Class Driver’s License, or equivalent (required). - Must have, or be able to obtain upon hire, the required level of third-party liability insurance coverage for the role (business class). - Daily travel required within designated geographic area from Sept - May.
