• Support the Service Desk - Weekend Team • Collaborate with other CDC Service Desk staff • Drive the key policies and procedures for IT Support • Utilize the IT Support tools provided by the Customer Engagement Branch

• Provide professional services to Murex clients: Provide services in the domain of system integration, business intelligence and data flows • Build, test, and provide support to clients on MX.3 integration modules • Develop trade workflows and interfaces to set up communication between external platforms and murex • Use a combination of MXMLExchange, MXopenconnect, Murex APIs, and Datamart • Handle support cases from notification to resolution and validation • Manage bug fixes and enhancements with the Product Team • Work with technologies including SQL, Unix, and Murex proprietary standards

• Executes day-to-day operational functions of critical incident management services providing continuous 24x7x365 monitoring, coordination, and incident handling. • Performs real-time monitoring, incident declaration, severity assessment using approved SOPs, incident bridge initiation and management, and stakeholder notification throughout the incident lifecycle. • Coordinates restoration activities across technical teams, vendors, and federal stakeholders while maintaining situational awareness of enterprise conditions. • Responsible for accurate and timely documentation, standardized tracking and reporting in approved systems, execution of escalation procedures, and direct support to root-cause analysis and post-incident reviews. • Enables continuous refinement of incident criteria, identification of recurring and systemic issues, and proactive remediation of major technical deficiencies.

• Provides continuous operational stewardship of enterprise database environments across Oracle and SQL platforms operating under a 24x7x365 support model. • Deploys, operates, and supports database environments including migrations across data centers, on-premise infrastructure, and cloud platforms while minimizing service disruption. • Performs sustained execution for monitoring, maintenance, backups, and incident support across production, development, test, and recovery environments. • Operates under senior engineer oversight while being actively up-skilled on complex issues and optimization. • Supports cross-team coordination with infrastructure, network, security, and communications teams. • Ensures database availability and recovery expectations are met without introducing single points of failure. • Assists with performance tuning, data integrity validation, and routine administrative tasks.

• Serves as technical lead providing architectural oversight, standards enforcement, and operational coordination across Oracle and SQL database platforms operating under a 24x7x365 support model. • Responsible for database installation and configuration, instance development and maintenance, performance and availability monitoring, security and patch management, backup and recovery readiness, and advanced troubleshooting. • Provides direct support for Oracle eBusiness Suite and associated Oracle WebLogic middleware. • Coordinates database response activities during incidents and recovery events to stabilize services and protect operational availability. • Actively mentors and up-skills mid-level engineers while focusing on complex issues, optimization, and cross-team coordination with infrastructure, network, security, and communications teams. • Ensures alignment of database operations with enterprise availability requirements across production, development, test, and recovery environments.

• Manage enterprise software licensing • Coordinate with multiple vendors/publishers • Track hundreds of entitlements • Ensure license compliance and audit readiness

• Design and operate enterprise CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps • Support large-scale environments (50+ developers) and multi-tool integrations • Integrate security/compliance controls, automated testing, and scalable deployment pipelines. • Maintain documentation/runbooks

• Analyzing performance, availability, operational metrics, and incident trends • Supporting cloud operations and lifecycle management

• Support enterprise patching and CVE-based remediation across Windows Server and Linux/UNIX environments, including manual patching in physical/virtual (on-prem and cloud) systems.

• Conducting stakeholder analysis. • Documenting business requirements (i.e., user stories), success criteria, and training documentation. • Creating business cases and feasibility studies. • Proposing business process improvements. • Facilitating communication between business stakeholders. • Documenting business scenarios while participating and facilitating User Acceptance Testing. • Assisting with backlog refinement • Align with and support the respective Product Owner and delivery team regarding Agile best practices including: refining and prioritizing backlogs, creating user stories, conducting demos, and participating in PI planning sessions and other ceremonies. • Experience supporting prior data conversions and validating results (e.g., reconciliation and data quality checks). • Experience partnering with Data Governance teams, including reference data management. • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server), including writing queries to analyze and validate data. • Understanding of data modeling concepts, including hierarchical data structures and ERDs. • Ability to interpret and analyze JSON structures. • Familiarity with Databricks is required. • Experience with cloud platforms required; Azure preferred. • Exposure to API testing tools such as Postman is beneficial (not required).
