• Conducting stakeholder analysis. • Documenting business requirements (i.e., user stories), success criteria, and training documentation. • Creating business cases and feasibility studies. • Proposing business process improvements. • Facilitating communication between business stakeholders. • Documenting business scenarios while participating and facilitating User Acceptance Testing. • Assisting with backlog refinement • Align with and support the respective Product Owner and delivery team regarding Agile best practices including: refining and prioritizing backlogs, creating user stories, conducting demos, and participating in PI planning sessions and other ceremonies. • Experience supporting prior data conversions and validating results (e.g., reconciliation and data quality checks). • Experience partnering with Data Governance teams, including reference data management. • Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server), including writing queries to analyze and validate data. • Understanding of data modeling concepts, including hierarchical data structures and ERDs. • Ability to interpret and analyze JSON structures. • Familiarity with Databricks is required. • Experience with cloud platforms required; Azure preferred. • Exposure to API testing tools such as Postman is beneficial (not required).

• Drives solutions from cradle to grave for a given enterprise-grade system or systems. • Experience in performing Buy vs Build analysis based on the qualitative and quantitative analysis across the available options to provide a final recommendation based on the rationale. • Contributor role in architecture design reviews within the Architecture community to drive modernization opportunities for the advancement of Aetna technology while keeping in mind the complexities of our IT landscape. • Act as a trusted advisor to application, security, and platform teams, driving alignment on strategies and patterns. • Leverage technical expertise and domain knowledge to identify Aetna apps targeted for refactor and optimization for cloud. • Contribute towards proofs-of-concept and technology deep-dives specific to partner technologies. • Advise and assist Application development teams with technical roadblocks such as performance challenges within a solution. • Engage with appropriate stakeholders to recommend or assess opportunities to drive cost efficiencies aimed at simplicity, configurability and eventual elimination of technical debt associated with Aetna applications. • Manage tech debt within a given portfolio and develop solution proposals to reduce them.
• Be a technologist and work with other Engineers in planning, prioritizing and performing assigned tasks within deadlines. • Lead, mentor and work with a team of engineers onsite and offshore to deliver multiple use cases and products. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinical product, interoperability, and EHR integration partners to make design decisions, ensure performance optimization, and maintain code quality through testing, debugging, and reviews. • Responsible for end-to-end application development & delivery, including production deployment, operationalization, and observability of services that support clinical workflows and integrations with major EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Athenahealth). • Develop applications/web services and cloud native apps using Sprint boot , GCP, REST API and other tech stacks (Open source and proprietary) • Unit testing using framework such as Junit, Mockito • Build and deploy services using GitHub, CircleCI, Harness as part of CI/CD process in leading Cloud Platforms GCP (preferred) or Azure or AWS. • Monitor App health and KPIs, support triage of any production issues as and when needed. • Advocate for and implement security best practices • Adopt and apply industry technology best practices • Partner with Product owners, business partners and peer groups for long and short-range technical solutions that meet business requirements. • Analyze and contribute to project and business requirements based on product team milestones and priority. • Participate in Program Increment (PI) planning meeting and lead the work distribution amongst developers to meet delivery timelines. • Actively participate in Agile Scrum team activities including Sprint Planning, Refinement, Iteration Reviews and Retrospectives.
• Develop, modify, and maintain Ladder Logic for programmable logic controllers (PLCs). • Integrate and support Allen-Bradley PLC platforms using Rockwell Automation software tools. • Perform system integration using Studio 5000 / CompactLogix environments (version 21 or later). • Develop and maintain electrical schematics and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical. • Support Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design, review, and troubleshooting. • Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues at the system and subsystem level. • Assemble, test, and validate electrical and control system assemblies. • Support LabVIEW-based control and data acquisition systems. • Provide technical knowledge transfer and documentation in support of workforce succession. • Support limited FPGA-based integration as required (non-primary responsibility). • Communicate technical status, risks, and recommendations to engineering and program leadership.
