Swimlane

The leader in agentic AI automation for every security function.

Full TimeRemoteMid LevelTeam 201-500Since 2014H1B No Sponsor

Role Description Design, deliver, and maintain technical learning programs for customers and partners. Turn complex product and platform concepts into courses, labs, workshops, and reference content that improve time-to-value and reduce misconfiguration and support burden. This role blends instructional design, hands-on technical credibility, and partnership with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams. What you'll do - Program & curriculum: - Own learning outcomes and curricula for assigned topics (e.g., playbook design, connectors, platform administration, APIs, troubleshooting, security operations workflows). - Map learner personas (new user vs power user vs admin) and build progressive learning paths. - Define assessments (knowledge checks, lab completion criteria, certification-style criteria where applicable). - Content production: - Author and maintain modules, e-learning, instructor-led outlines, recorded demos, and hands-on labs (sandbox or guided exercises). - Keep content current across releases; maintain a lightweight content changelog tied to product changes. - Use consistent structure: learning objectives, prerequisites, exercises, glossaries, and common pitfalls. - Delivery & facilitation: - Deliver live training for customers and partners (virtual and occasionally in-person): onboarding, feature deep-dives, and partner enablement. - Run train-the-trainer and scaled partner programs where applicable. - Measurement & iteration: - Use metrics such as completion, lab success, certification pass rates, support themes, and learner feedback (e.g., CSAT/NPS) to prioritize updates. - Partner with Support/CS to spot recurring confusion and close gaps with targeted content. - Cross-functional partnership: - Work with Product, Engineering, and Documentation for accuracy and timely updates around releases. - Coordinate with Marketing on webinars or academy-style programs when applicable. Qualifications - Approximately 6 years in technical training, customer/partner education, or instructional design for complex B2B SaaS or platform products (combined relevant experience is welcome). Requirements - Experience designing and delivering technical training for external audiences (customers and/or partners)—not only ad hoc decks. - Ability to learn a complex B2B platform deeply enough to teach it and to frame learner issues clearly for product/engineering when needed. - Strong written communication: explain architecture and workflows clearly. - Comfort with hands-on technical environments: labs, admin UIs, API docs, JSON/config as needed for exercises. - Familiarity with learning tools (LMS, authoring tools, basic video/lab workflows)—the workflow should not be new to you. Nice to have - Background in cybersecurity operations (SOC, IR, SIEM, SOAR) or IT automation. - Experience training integrators or developers (APIs, webhooks, authentication models). - Familiarity with Angular/TypeScript, .NET, or Node.js at an explanatory level. - Certification or badging program experience. - Experience with global audiences (time zones, localization). Benefits - Competitive Benefits & Compensation - Stock Options - Training & Professional Development Opportunities - MacBook Pro - Great Company Culture - We value collaboration and innovation - Give-back Volunteering Opportunities Company Description Here at Swimlane, our core focus is to Automate the World of Security and we strive to represent our five core values in everything we do: - Punch above your weight class - We make the most of our circumstances and constantly surprise and impress with our ability to deliver. - Be a happy innovator - The hard problems are the fun problems to solve, we’re excited to take on difficult challenges and find creative solutions. - Always be leveling up - We are continuously improving, embracing change, and consuming information to better ourselves and each other. - Move at the speed of WOW - We work with an extreme sense of urgency, but we never compromise quality. - Have honesty and integrity in ‘all the things’ - We make decisions with the best of intentions, doing what is right for as many stakeholders as possible.
