• Expand, sustain, and manage new business opportunities for Strata’s technology portfolio within the North American mining industry • Identify and pursue new customer opportunities across mining operators, contractors, consultants, OEMs, and channel partners • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, accounts, dealers, and key industry contacts • Execute territory and account growth strategies aligned with company objectives and regional sales plans • Collaborate with Account Managers to drive account growth by identifying and developing opportunities to introduce additional Strata solutions across existing customer operations • Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, presentations, and commercial documentation • Coordinate and support submissions for Tenders, Expressions of Interest (EOIs), and Requests for Information (RFIs) • Achieve annual sales targets and business development objectives • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, activity reporting, and opportunity tracking • Collaborate with Product Management to provide customer feedback, market insights, and product development recommendations that strengthen Strata’s competitive differentiation • Conduct customer site visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations to support the sales process • Monitor mining industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to support strategic planning and positioning • Represent Strata at trade shows, conferences, networking events, and customer meetings throughout North America • Support commercial negotiations and contract discussions in alignment with company objectives
Collision Avoidance Systems Specialist

Role Summary This role serves as a primary commercial and customer-facing resource supporting collision avoidance and proximity detection systems across industrial and mobile equipment environments. The position requires a strong working understanding of multiple safety technologies and the ability to communicate differences between solutions, align systems to customer needs, and drive opportunities forward from initial engagement through execution.Key Responsibilities Customer Engagement & Opportunity Management - Serve as a primary point of contact for customers and distributors - Lead high-level discussions on collision avoidance solutions and applications - Conduct presentations, product overviews, and system demonstrations - Drive Proof of Concept (POC) programs including scope, coordination, and follow-up - Maintain consistent engagement and momentum with active opportunities Technical Understanding (Applied, Not Engineering-Level) - Develop working knowledge of collision avoidance technologies including electromagnetic, AI vision, radar and LIDAR systems - Explain differences, strengths, and limitations of each technology - Align appropriate solutions to environments and applications - Coordinate with engineering for detailed technical support when required Proposal & Quotation Development - Build structured proposals based on equipment and site requirements - Define scope, configurations, and optional components - Support pricing development with internal teams - Ensure proposals align with customer needs and operational realities Cross-Functional Coordination - Work closely with engineering, operations, and commercial teams - Coordinate internal resources to support customer requirements - Provide feedback on product gaps, performance, and competitive insights Market Awareness - Maintain awareness of industry trends and competitive solutions - Support internal strategy with customer and market feedback Travel & Field Support - Willingness to travel to customer sites for meetings, evaluations, and POC support - Support implementation activities as needed Qualifications Experience - 5–10+ years in industrial, heavy equipment, or related sectors - Experience in technical sales, applications, or customer-facing roles preferred Technical Skills - Understanding of mobile equipment and operating environments - Ability to explain and differentiate technology types and use cases - Familiarity with basic system concepts such as integration, sensors, and communications Commercial Skills - Strong customer engagement and communication skills - Experience building proposals and supporting sales processes - Highly organized with consistent follow-up and opportunity management Core Attributes - Strong ownership and accountability - Effective communicator with technical and non-technical stakeholders - Disciplined follow-through and execution - Practical thinker able to align solutions to real-world applications Location Remote role.
