Role Description The intake coordinator’s role is critical, given that this is often the very first impression people get of our law office. It’s so important, we’re going to say it again. The intake coordinator is the first impression our potential clients get of our office and often the first voice current clients hear on the phone. This is such a vital role! - Completely fluent in both written and spoken Spanish - Strong oral and written communication skills in both languages - Empathetic and loves interacting with people from all backgrounds - Owns the intake process and recognizes the element of sales it entails - Uses an intake process with a pipeline for follow-ups - Spends time answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing appointments - Assists the team with ongoing projects such as building policies and designing handouts Qualifications - Outgoing and confident - Bilingual in English and Spanish - Excellent communication skills – spoken and written in both Spanish and English - Extremely organized and methodical - Ability to work collaboratively in a team - Resilient and creative problem-solving skills - Fast learner - Strong attention to detail - including grammar and spelling - Ability to adhere to deadlines - Excellent knowledge of basic office programs: email, calendaring, case management software, and online applications - Strong typing and computer efficiency skills - Proven experience in customer relations = 5+ Years (strongly preferred) - Understanding of business principles (strongly preferred) - Knowledge of sales (strongly preferred) - High school diploma or equivalent (College Degree, and/or Certificates in Business or Relevant Field(s) a Strong Advantage) Requirements - Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls and emails - Screen types of callers: potential clients, clients, vendors, colleagues, expert witnesses, Immigration Judges, and/or USCIS Officers - Triage the urgency of calls after conducting an assessment - Manage questions and route to the appropriate team member, or answer when appropriate - Monitor phone messaging system - Monitor incoming emails related to scheduling and potential new clients - Collect detailed information and note it in the call log and case management software - Manage potential client/case pipeline, including assignment of follow-up tasks to self and others - Coordinate scheduling of initial consultations - Perform other administrative duties as requested by other team members - Provide a weekly report on data in the case intake program - Create a weekly agenda of items to discuss and track the resolution of projects Benefits - Opportunity to work mostly remotely - Healthy work-life balance - Periodic group trauma trainings Instructions to Apply - Please provide your resume - Cover letter explaining: - What motivated you to apply for this position - Why do you want to work at Stouffer Law specifically (not just any firm) - The experience and results you have achieved that make you confident you will perform well in this role - Candidates must be prepared to provide the following references upon request: - A list of your social media handles - A total of 4 references, including: - At least one professional reference from a direct supervisor - Personal references (non-family members only)

Role Description This role involves providing legal services in immigration law, focusing on a diverse caseload while working in a supportive remote environment. - Engage with the legal team to share legal strategy on each case. - Use office systems, checklists, and flow charts to ensure high-quality service for clients. - Communicate options to clients based on current laws and procedures with empathy. - Oversee forms drafted and evidence gathered by the legal team. - Support paralegals and legal assistants in their interactions with the legal team. - Prepare for and represent clients in Immigration Court and before USCIS and DOS. - Maintain clear case notes and key information in the case management software. - Manage an independent caseload and provide support to lead attorneys. Qualifications - A minimum of 8+ years as an attorney in immigration law (considering exceptional candidates with combined experience). - Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken. - Excellent communication skills – verbal and written. - Strong understanding of immigration law and the ability to help clients tell their stories. - Empathy and a warm demeanor. - Impeccable organizational skills and ability to lead and delegate. - Problem-solving skills and creativity to innovate strategies. - Ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines. - Resiliency and adaptability in a changing legal environment. - Strong attention to detail, including grammar and formatting. - Comfort using case management software and standard office programs. - Excellent knowledge of legal research techniques and databases. Requirements - Experience in customer relations for 5+ years is a bonus. - An understanding of business principles is advantageous. - Fluency in languages beyond Spanish is a plus. - Experience working remotely is a plus. Benefits - Compensation: $47,500-$75,000 (20 hours/week), $71,250-$97,500 (30 hours/week).
