• Own AWS Infrastructure Architecture & Security • Architect and maintain AWS infrastructure across compute, networking, databases, caching, storage, and serverless services • Design for scalability, elasticity, and cost efficiency • Own VPC architecture, subnet segmentation, routing, and security boundaries • Design and enforce IAM policies, least-privilege access, and secrets management • Strengthen encryption standards (at rest and in transit) and key management • Design and improve monitoring, alerting, and observability across the stack • Move from reactive alerts to proactive system health signals • Define uptime expectations, SLAs, and capacity planning • Create and maintain incident response runbooks and disaster recovery plans • Regularly test and validate backup and recovery procedures • Strengthen AWS security services usage including GuardDuty, WAF, CloudTrail, Config, and Security Hub • Own vulnerability scanning, patch management, and remediation tracking • Support audits, security assessments, and penetration test remediation • Drive toward steady-state audit readiness, not scramble-based compliance • Improve and maintain Azure DevOps build and release pipelines • Implement low-blast-radius release strategies • Enforce security gates within deployment workflows • Improve rollback confidence and deployment predictability • Collaborate on infrastructure needs for new services and features • Drive infrastructure-as-code practices where they create leverage • Influence architectural decisions related to scalability, cost, and security • Raise operational awareness and security discipline across the team

• Own release confidence end-to-end: Define release readiness criteria and drive go/no-go decisions • Eliminate black-box testing and implement transparent regression tracking • Embed QA into sprint refinement and feature design • Design and evolve our quality architecture: Define regression strategy by domain (billing, scheduling, authorization, claims, data import) • Create test traceability from story to execution • Build test data strategies for complex workflow validation • Design and prioritize automation roadmap • Work hands-on across the stack: Manual and exploratory testing across web and mobile • API-level validation • Validate complex business rules and billing logic • Build and maintain automation suites (ACCELQ or similar) • Partner with engineering to improve unit and integration test coverage • Lead and elevate quality culture: Mentor and direct QA execution (US, nearshore, offshore) • Drive shift-left thinking across engineering • Define quality metrics and defect escape analysis • Communicate risk clearly and decisively

• Design, build, and operate production software across the full stack: Backend services in C# / modern .NET Web APIs and server-side applications SQL Server data models and performance-optimized queries Front-end web applications Cross-platform mobile apps using .NET MAUI (iOS & Android) • Own features end-to-end, from design through delivery and follow-up • Debug complex issues across UI, APIs, background processing, and data • Write and maintain unit tests as a standard part of development • Design systems with performance, scalability, and reliability in mind • Integrate with AWS services, including Lambda • Participate actively in code reviews and design discussions • Identify technical debt and drive pragmatic improvements • Support deployments and take ownership of system stability
