Role Description The Legal (Sales) Consultant will be responsible for: - Responding to customer enquiries via email, text, and over the phone. - Using legal knowledge to scope and understand the type of legal service each customer requires. - Being the first point of contact for new enquiries and explaining how Sprintlaw works and why it is different and ‘better’ than traditional legal services. - Writing up accurate and detailed legal briefs for our legal team. - Developing ongoing relationships with customers. - Managing relationships by effectively using sales strategies. Other responsibilities may include: - Developing sales and marketing strategies. - Attending business development events and activities. Qualifications - Excellent customer service and client management skills. - An appetite for sales and a genuine interest in assisting new and existing customers. - The ability to ‘think on your feet’ and know when to seek help from co-workers. - The ability to explain technical solutions in a simple yet effective way. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to work autonomously. - Proficiency with tech and sales processes. - Interest in startups, entrepreneurship, and prior experience within the legal industry is looked upon favourably. Role Description Sprintlaw operates as a legal consultancy, not a law firm. As an independent contractor at Sprintlaw, you’ll be able to log into our platform whenever you like and pick up the projects you want to do. We work flexibly with our contractors so you can decide when you work, the volume of projects you do and the type of work you do. We’ll set you up with all our online project management systems, automated invoicing system and workflow automations, so all you need to do is work with the end client to deliver their fixed-fee projects. If you’re running your own practice and looking to partner with a company like Sprintlaw, we’d love to receive your application. Qualifications - 4+ years of experience in broad commercial & corporate areas of law - Set up as a private company (either as a legal consultancy or independent SRA regulated law firm) - Public Liability Insurance of at least £2m - Understanding of our mission to make legal services simple and efficient for small businesses - Ability to follow our brand guidelines to ensure a consistent Sprintlaw client experience - Capability to keep us updated on changing capacity Requirements - Personable, with experience working directly with clients - Tech-savvy, able to operate our technology platforms - Excellent communication skills (important for online interactions with small businesses) - Experience in any of the following areas: - Commercial - Corporate structuring & capital raising - Employment law - Intellectual property (including trade mark applications and oppositions) - Franchising - NFP and charity set up - Data privacy compliance Company Description
