Role Description As General Counsel, you'll serve as a key strategic advisor to Rythm's founders and leadership team, helping the company navigate growth while balancing opportunity, risk, and innovation. This is a highly impactful opportunity for someone who thrives in founder-led environments and enjoys operating at the intersection of business strategy, marketing, product, operations, and legal. You'll work closely with leadership to help scale the company responsibly while enabling bold decision-making and continued growth. This is not a traditional legal gatekeeper role. We're looking for a commercially-minded operator who views legal as a business function, understands how to support high-growth consumer brands, and can help the company move quickly while managing risk effectively. Role Description We're looking for an Email Marketing Designer & Copywriter who is equal parts marketer, designer, and copywriter. This is a hands-on creative role. We are not looking for someone who builds a strategy and hands it off to a design team. We're looking for someone who loves bringing campaigns to life themselves, from the first idea to the final send. - Own every aspect of our Email and SMS marketing strategy, including lifecycle automation, retention, customer acquisition, visual design, copywriting, segmentation, testing, analytics, and optimization. - Create beautiful emails that people actually want to open. - Write copy that feels human instead of promotional. - Continuously test new ways to improve customer engagement and lifetime value. - Thrive in a role that involves opening Figma, writing compelling headlines, and obsessing over spacing, imagery, subject lines, and customer psychology. • Own key areas of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, preparing complex journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. • Own assigned components of the balance sheet and income statement, including month-end review and monthly flux and variance analysis to identify key drivers and explain period-over-period changes. • Prepare GAAP-aligned financial statements and monthly reporting packages for the founders, board, and investors. • Manage and improve accounting processes across the general ledger, including revenue, accounts receivable, accruals, and inventory and COGS, performing quarterly reconciliation reviews to ensure compliance with company policies and U.S. GAAP and to resolve process gaps. • Research and document accounting conclusions in accordance with U.S. GAAP, applying sound judgment and company accounting policies. • Redesign and automate routine processes such as journal entries and reconciliations using AI tools, helping build scalable processes, internal controls, and documentation as Rythm grows. • Act as a business partner across Operations, Partnerships, Legal, and Product; support external audit and tax workstreams with our external CPA; and drive special projects from identification through implementation.
