Role Description As the founding Support Engineer at Runlayer, you'll be the technical frontline for enterprise customers deploying Runlayer across their engineering orgs. You'll work directly with customers in Pylon, Slack, and Teams to triage and resolve issues across the control plane, connectors, OAuth flows, deployment configs, and AI client integrations, and you'll build the support playbook from scratch as the bridge between customers and engineering. Why You'll Thrive Here - Impact: Be the first support hire and the face of Runlayer to every enterprise customer in production. - Excellence: Work closely with the engineers who built the platform, and use AI tooling daily to do the job. - Ownership: Own the support function end to end, from triage and runbooks to the fixes that kill recurring tickets. What You'll Do - Work directly with customers in Pylon, Slack, and Teams to triage and resolve technical issues and bugs across the control plane, MCP connectors, OAuth, and deployments. - Use AI and MCP tooling to triage faster: diagnostic agents, log query templates, and reproduction workflows. - Guide enterprise teams through onboarding: first setup, SSO and SCIM, connector activation, and policy configuration. - Build the knowledge base from zero: runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and customer-facing docs for common deployment patterns (EKS, ECS, Helm, Terraform). - Manage escalations: debug what you can, and pull in Platform, SRE, or Identity engineers with clear reproduction steps when you can't. - Close the loop with product and engineering: turn recurring tickets into doc fixes, product fixes, and self-serve flows. - Learn and share new features as they ship each week, both to customers and across the team. Qualifications - 3-5 years in technical support, solutions engineering, or customer-facing engineering at SaaS or developer-tools companies. - An infrastructure support background, or strong technical depth in enterprise infra and AI systems like agents and identity. - Debugging fluency across the stack: you read Python/TypeScript, query PostgreSQL, trace HTTP requests, and interpret Kubernetes pod logs. - Familiarity with enterprise identity (SSO, SCIM, OAuth) and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred: EKS/ECS, CloudWatch, VPCs). - Experience running support in Pylon and over Slack or Teams. - AI-native workflow: you use MCPs and AI tools daily to do real work. - A drive to put customer satisfaction first and go above and beyond. - Excellent written communication: clear, concise explanations for both engineers and IT admins. - Zero-to-one mindset: comfortable defining your own SLAs, triage workflows, and escalation paths. Bonus Qualifications - Hands-on experience with MCP and how agents call tools in production. - Experience supporting security-critical or compliance-driven enterprise deployments. - Built support tooling or self-serve flows that measurably reduced ticket volume. Benefits - Competitive salary and equity — compensation that reflects your expertise and customer-facing responsibilities. - Paid time off — paid vacation, paid sick leave, and paid parental leave. - Professional development — budget for conferences, courses, and certifications in AI, enterprise software, and customer success. - Top-tier equipment — your choice of laptop and accessories to create your ideal work environment. - Health benefits — comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage. - Customer interaction opportunities — work directly with innovative companies and see the immediate impact of your work.
Role Description As the Founding PM for the Control Plane, you'll own one governance plane for the full agent lifecycle: every MCP, skill, plugin, and agent, governed and observable across every surface an agent can touch. Today agents sprawl across every platform with little oversight; you'll build the one layer that sits between their agentic harnesses and the hundreds of SaaS apps their agents reach. You'll work directly with the CPO, owning the roadmap from discovery through shipped product. Why You'll Thrive Here - Impact: Own the control plane that lets enterprises adopt AI agents without losing control. - Excellence: Work closely with founders who helped establish MCP and ship fast. - Ownership: Own the full control-plane surface end to end, from discovery through shipped product. What You'll Do - Own the control-plane surface: discovery, visibility, deep session, real-time controls, and agent IAM. - Run discovery with security and IT buyers and the developers and agents who hit the proxy, turning signals into a ranked roadmap. - Make decisions, prioritize the roadmap, and ship with engineers weekly. Qualifications - 8+ years in product management, including 3+ on security, infrastructure, or identity/IAM products. - Founder or early-PM experience; you've built product processes from zero. - Fluency with the buyer/user split: the CISO/IT team who buys governance and the developer or agent who lives under it. - Technical depth: you read code and reason about proxies, policy engines, OAuth/identity, and audit pipelines. - Customer obsession: you run your own discovery calls and can name five customers from your last role by first name. - Strong writing; you make your case in clear PRDs, not slide decks. - AI-native, with real opinions on how agents and tools should be governed. Bonus Qualifications - Hands-on building of MCP and how agents call tools in production. - Background in detection and response, DLP/PII/PHI, secrets/vault, or compliance-driven enterprise sales (SOC 2, HIPAA, NIST). - Shipped observability or policy products where winning meant covering more, in more detail, than anyone else.
Role Description As the Founding PM for Agents, you'll own where agents and skills get built, shipped, and run at scale, the growth engine of our customers. That means the fastest path from an idea to a working agent or skill, for engineers and non-technical builders alike, plus everything that happens once it's built: - Agents running on schedules and triggers - Agents calling each other - Governed by Runlayer underneath - Getting better over time You'll work directly with the CPO, owning the roadmap from discovery through shipped product. Why You'll Thrive Here - Impact: Build the tools that turn one builder into a team, and a team into an org running on agents. - Excellence: Work closely with founders who helped establish MCP and ship fast. - Ownership: Own the builder and the runtime end to end, from discovery through shipped product. What You'll Do - Own the builder: natural language to working agent, self-improvement, versioning, and sharing. - Own the runtime: event-based triggers, scheduling, model routing, and agent delegation. - Drive growth: Slack Agents, time-to-first-working-agent, and the self-serve path that turns one builder into a team into an org. - Define how product telemetry makes agents better over time. - Serve both audiences: the engineer who wants SDK depth and the non-technical builder who wants natural language. Run discovery directly with both. - Make decisions, prioritize, and ship with engineers weekly. Qualifications - 8+ years in product management, including 3+ on developer tools, platform, or builder/automation products. - Founder or early-PM experience; you've built product processes from zero. - Shipped 0→1 builder or automation surfaces, with a grasp of PLG and bottoms-up growth: activation, time-to-value, and sharing loops. - Technical depth: you read code and understand API/SDK design, agent frameworks, and how agents call tools. - Customer obsession: you run your own discovery calls and can name five customers from your last role by first name. - Strong writing; you make your case in clear PRDs, not slide decks. - AI-native: you build with agents daily and have real opinions on how they should be created, orchestrated, and improved. Bonus Qualifications - Hands-on building of MCP, skills, and how agents call tools and each other in production. - Experience with workflow or agent orchestration, triggers, or scheduling systems. - A track record turning a builder product into a growth engine (self-serve, templates).
