Rethink Billing Overview Our Billing Services Division specializes in Revenue Cycle Management, Enrollment and Credentialing, and Benefit Authorization Management services. Job Summary: The Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist is responsible for supporting our billing teams by working with insurance companies to ensure efficient and prompt reimbursement for therapy sessions for our customers and actively pursuing all outstanding A/R for customers supported within the RCM division. Job Duties: - Ensure strict HIPAA-compliant confidentiality with all client-related data - Review customer account reports and follow up to ensure any flags/concerns are notated proactively and communicated to the Customer Billing Advocate (CBA) - Review A/R Aging Reports and follow up with insurance companies regarding expected reimbursement for outstanding claims - Notate & document all follow up work on aging claims within A/R Aging Reports as required and documented in standard SOPs - Meet expectations on deadlines for completion of A/R Aging Reports for each customer supported within POD - Follow up on denials immediately and communicate any trends to CBA - Follow up on any open A/R tickets in Salesforce as assigned by CBA - Meet deadlines assigned for A/R work as assigned by CBA - Utilize denial management platforms for submission of appeals, reconsideration requests, etc. - Research specific payor billing rules as needed - Follow up on claims submitted electronically for primary and secondary payors - Submit corrected claims when needed - Attend POD meetings and contribute to agenda items as designated by CBA - Post payments or submit missing payments to posting team and maintain A/R as assigned - File appeals to insurance and to insurance commissioner as needed - Stay informed about Payor and Industry Billing rules - Review & interpret payor contracts when applicable - Measure and monitor key metrics related to work performance - Attend customer meetings as needed with CBA - Work to meet POD goals collectively as cohesive team - Foster a positive work environment for colleagues Requirements: - HS Diploma or Equivalent - ABA billing experience - Min. 1-year experience in billing; major commercial insurance companies and state Medicaid programs - Experience using insurance company websites/portals - Proficient in using Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) - Willing to learn, positive attitude and love a good challenge - Professional writing & phone skills - This role requires exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking and excellent communication with internal teams and insurance companies Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree - Speech, OT and Mental Health billing experience - Minimum 1-year experience working in an office setting - Minimum 1-year experience in billing company setting - Experience using Billing Software, EMR and Clearinghouse systems (Rethink, Azalea, Tebra, Central Reach, Waystar, Trizetto, Availity) - Experience using denial management platform (DocVocate) Education:  - Bachelor’s degree preferred/ HS Diploma or Equivalent required. • Ensure strict HIPAA-compliant confidentiality with all client data and claims • Manage and operate in multiple different billing platforms dependent on client needs which could include Azalea, Tebra, Central Reach and/or Rethink Integrated Billing Module • Manage assigned client accounts billing scrubs for primary and secondary claims • Submit claims electronically for primary and secondary payors • Solve clearinghouse rejections • Submit corrected claims for billing errors, rebill projects (new plans/new year, new information on payor policies) • Maintain account spreadsheets, billing cheat sheets, provider, and billing information including provider roster and payer policy billing rules • Contribute to updates and communicate to Customer Billing Advocate and other members of POD • Provide internal reporting to team of status and issues for clients within POD • Meet internal benchmarks for clean claims / first pass rate, unbilled claims, clearinghouse rejections, secondary claims, and denials for billing errors • Research specific payor billing rules as needed • Review client billing documentation to ensure claims are submitted based on payor requirements • Stay informed about Payor and Industry Billing rules • Foster a positive work environment for team members

• Oversee all payment posting (ERA, EOB, EFT, patient payments) • Ensure timely and accurate posting of payments • Reconcile bank deposits with system records • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies • Manage underpayments, overpayments, and unapplied cash • Establish internal controls and audit readiness processes • Partner with AR, billing, and finance teams • Manage and oversee both offshore and onshore cash posting teams

• Design high-quality product experiences across RethinkFirst’s product ecosystem. • Lead design for product features and workflows across RethinkBH, RethinkCare, and RethinkEd. • Partner closely with product managers, engineers, designers, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders. • Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and clear design specifications. • Use advanced Figma skills to create polished design work. • Experiment with AI-generated or AI-assisted prototypes to validate workflows, demonstrate product concepts. • Present design work and prototypes with confidence and clarity to stakeholders and leadership.

• Oversee all initial claim generation and submission processes • Ensure timely and accurate claim submission • Maintain clean claim rate targets (>95%) • Lead clearinghouse edits and rejection management • Perform root-cause analysis on billing issues • Standardize billing workflows across the organization • Partner with coding, credentialing, and payer teams • Lead billing managers and supervisors • Manage and oversee both offshore and onshore billing teams

• Support the execution of strategic initiatives across the revenue cycle • Drive coordination, organization, and accountability across cross-functional teams • Serve as a central point of coordination for transformation efforts • Maintain visibility, manage timelines, and ensure consistent follow-through across all active workstreams • Partner closely with leadership to drive results • Maintain a centralized tracker of all revenue cycle transformation initiatives • Ensure all projects have defined owners, timelines, and next steps • Monitor progress and proactively follow up on outstanding deliverables • Coordinate and facilitate weekly and monthly project meetings • Prepare agendas, capture notes, and document action items • Partner with operations, technology, and analytics teams to ensure alignment • Prepare regular status reports and dashboards • Support standardized templates and tracking tools

• Ensure strict HIPAA-compliant confidentiality with all client-related data • Build and oversee A/R team to manage assigned accounts and mitigate AR backlog • Oversee QA manager & work closely with QA team to improve program and processes developed for RCM team across functions • Assist in developing strategic plans/programs to enhance RCM functionality to exceed the goals/objectives assigned to the RCM team. • Delineate, define, and streamline functional activities, ensuring maximum utilization of all resources in the US and India. • Travel to India to meet with the team at least twice a year. • Assist in identifying, analyzing, and addressing challenges and/or breakdowns in the processes across the RCM Team • Oversee Vendor productivity and performance, including management of procedures and workflows • Make recommendations to Rethink leadership to address and improve our customer’s experience. • Aid in account escalations from management and clients to ensure a timely resolution is reached & communicated when needed • Assist in monitoring/updating project plans surrounding key initiatives for the RCM team and assure deadlines/goals are being met • Assist in monitoring/updating internal and external reporting requirements. • Regularly provide VP of Revenue Cycle Management with status updates including account escalations, weekly KPI reporting, staffing concerns and quality assessments • Assist in the development and execution of growth strategy initiatives (e.g. Integrated Billing system roll-out, acquisition integration) to achieve RCM revenue targets • Evaluate Vendor performance, provide feedback and deliver/monitor action plans • Identify and implement process improvements and workflow automation of RCM functions • Interview candidates, as needed • Other special projects/assignments as needed
