• Leverage semiconductor metallization and/or printed circuit board metallization experience to work directly with customers to identify material needs and requirements • Deliver financial results (revenue, margin, YoY growth) to grow 1-3 assigned top Key Accounts • Develop, update, and execute territory Strategic Plan and Strategic Key Account Plans • Build customer relationships to deepen engagement across all key roles/functions • Capture and document Key Account Technical Roadmaps, CTQ requirements, and opportunity window timing • Hunt, develop, open, and engage new opportunities • Drive internal actions to ensure strong ongoing engagements throughout the material selection process • Regularly review customer consumption and inventory levels to effectively manage the business

Field Applications Engineer – Distribution

• Provide technical support to Laird Distributors and their customers integrating Laird’s EMI shielding, thermal interface materials, and structural/precision metal components into their designs • Assist with product selection by analyzing customer requirements and recommending appropriate materials or components • Support design-in activities, including reviewing schematics, mechanical layouts, and thermal models to ensure compatibility with Laird solutions • Conduct technical presentations and training for Distributors, customers and internal teams on Laird technologies and application best practices • Collaborate with engineering and product management to communicate customer needs, field issues, and product improvement opportunities • Participate in testing and validation, leveraging Laird’s advanced modeling and simulation tools to help customers optimize performance • Troubleshoot EMI, thermal, or wireless performance issues in customer prototypes or production systems • Support sales teams by providing technical justification, documentation, and competitive analysis during the sales cycle • Regularly attend customer design review meetings with or without the Distributor and provide technical design support for SBU solutions • Utilize all product offerings, providing insightful and detailed design solutions • Drive prototype, tool build, and initial production build to meet customer timelines • Originate and release final production documentation, detailed with critical dimensions and tolerances required for a functional part, but also taking into account manufacturing restrictions • Manage and direct a product development design team consisting of multiple engineering disciplines • Manage and coordinate activities between departments to meet product development requirements • Simultaneously set priorities/direction for multiple programs in development • Responsible for working with Distribution Partners, OEM engineers, Manufacturer's Representatives and Territory Sales Managers to implement Laird provided solutions for existing, qualifying new and next generation and cost reduction programs • Adheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.
• Responsibility for the selling of all Laird products and services within an assigned geographic region. • Directly manage and coordinate activities of assigned team members in such a way to meet planned goals and objectives. • Develop new business relationships by personally presenting to major accounts within assigned region. • Develop and maintain sales by exploring and qualifying existing accounts. • Guide Sales & Rep organizations on where to play and how to play in selling Laird's products and services. • Lead and coach a team of sales, manufacturing reps. • Maintain up to date records on all major accounts including sales data, quote records, and customer contacts. • Provide accurate feedback to management on missed quotes and future trends. • Coordinate activities with Inside Sales Teams to maximize our ability to close on new business opportunities. • Provide assurance to management that all policies are carried out accurately. • Consult with management in formulating a sales and marketing strategy. • Define product(s) with customers. • Prepare comprehensive quote packages for customers. • Prepare technical sales presentation in MS PowerPoint. • Monitor timing, development and manufacturing of products/programs. • Monitor cost changes/cost reduction measures/annual reductions, and ensure sales prices amended timely. • Visit customer base frequently, identify programs and program specifics. • Support development teams in gaining product specific information from customer and required third parties. • Support license partners, suppliers and trace production record. • Adheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.
• Responsible for working with OEM engineers, Manufacturer's Representatives, Distribution Partners and Territory Sales Managers to implement Laird solutions • Regularly attend customer meetings and provide technical design support while building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders • Utilize Laird and DuPont products and materials to help solve customer challenges with insightful and detailed design solutions • Present design solutions to customers • Drive customer interactions, prototype, and initial production build to meet stakeholder timelines • Originate and release final production documentation, detailed with critical dimensions and tolerances • Manage and direct a project through a product development design team • Keep work skills current to ensure Laird competitiveness in a dynamic global business environment • May require extensive travel to customer sites
