• Build core distributed systems in Rust. • Design scalable and fault-tolerant platform services. • Develop messaging, storage, and eventing infrastructure. • Improve system reliability and operational resilience. • Own services from development through production operations. • Create metrics, dashboards, alerts, and runbooks. • Support incident response and capacity planning. • Optimize latency, throughput, and system performance. • Work across cloud infrastructure and data systems. • Use AI tools thoughtfully to improve engineering workflows.

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of technology and commercial agreements, including SaaS agreements, vendor agreements, reseller and partnership agreements, NDAs, and other commercial contracts • Partner closely with internal stakeholders across Sales, Product, Compliance, IT, Finance, Marketing, and executive leadership • Support legal aspects of product and service evolution, launches, and go-to-market initiatives • Contribute to the development and improvement of legal processes, templates, and operational workflows • Assist with privacy and regulatory compliance matters, including GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and related frameworks • Support ongoing compliance initiatives related to ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certifications • Help identify legal and operational risks while providing practical, business-focused guidance • Stay informed on evolving legal developments impacting SaaS, technology, AI, privacy, and international business operations

• Ship AI-powered features into production • Integrate LLM inference, build evaluation and observability tooling • Own the full lifecycle of AI services • Design low-latency inference pipelines for high-throughput message streams • Implement model routing, prompt and retrieval patterns (RAG), caching, batching, and fallbacks • Build internal frameworks, APIs/SDKs, and tooling

• Lead solution strategy and planning across Product, Sales, and Engineering to align solution architecture with customer outcomes and enable scalable, coordinated execution. • Act as a trusted technical advisor, guiding customers through real-time application development and identifying opportunities to expand their use of PubNub’s platform. • Develop tailored solutions and architectures for enterprise use cases, ensuring seamless integration, scalability, and rapid time-to-market. • Provide hands-on implementation guidance and best practices for PubNub’s SDKs, APIs, and platform components. • Define and document scalable architecture patterns that can be reused across strategic accounts, regions, and verticals. • Conduct customer workshops, internal knowledge-sharing sessions, and contribute to solution documentation to support technical adoption and long-term success.
