• Support the Director of Marketing through the development and execution of consistent branding for Protect Life Michigan posts, emails, brochures, handouts, website, and event branding in language and appearance. • Ensure brand identity and message consistency across channels. • Assist the Social Media Manager in designing social media posts, captions, and/or video creation/editing. • Research relevant media trends and apply them to Protect Life Michigan's marketing content and strategy. • Collaborate with the Director of Community Engagement and Executive Director to design the Annual Report each spring. • Assist the Director of Marketing with regular event marketing design projects for events such as the Life Advocate Intensive, March for Life, Summer Internship Program, and Student Celebration.
Social Media Specialist

• Assist in drafting, designing, and scheduling social media content (graphics, captions, videos). • Help maintain the monthly social media calendar. • Support the creation and formatting of Instagram Stories, Reels, and TikToks. • Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions; respond as needed. • Help flag or escalate critical comments or PR concerns. • Research pro-life news, current events, and digital trends to help identify relevant content. • Track basic engagement metrics (likes, shares, comments, reach) for reporting. • Attend occasional PLM events to capture content for social media (photos, videos, behind-the-scenes). • Help organize and archive social media assets (photos, footage, graphic templates).
Strategic Initiatives Developer

• Take ownership of the execution of assigned projects and tasks that advance PLM’s long-term vision to end abortion. • Assist Strategic Initiatives Managers in determining project basics, such as scope and deliverables, on an as-needed basis. • Apply agile project management methods to move initiatives forward with clarity, efficiency, and accountability. • Translate vision into action by breaking projects into achievable steps with clear goals and deadlines. • Attend all developer team meetings, such as planning meetings and sprint huddles. • Collaborate closely with other developers, contributing ideas and feedback to sharpen and strengthen initiatives. • Routinely give and implement feedback to ensure quality and cohesiveness. • Report to Strategic Initiatives Manager. • Participate in weekly 1:1s. • Receive regular professional development. • Periodically attend events and outreaches throughout the state as a representative of Protect Life Michigan.
Event Planner
Protect Life MichiganWe have a vision to make abortion unthinkable by equipping and deploying pro-life leaders to change hearts and minds.
• Lead and support all planning and execution before, during, and after these events: Annual March for Life Trip to DC, Fundraising Dinner (assisting the Director of Development), Summer Internship, Planning team as needed, End-of-Year Student Celebration, Life Advocate Intensive, Student Training Event, Any other regional or statewide PLM events such as speaking tours, large student events, or events for PLM supporters. • Assist Program Coordinators in their programmatic event planning as needed. • Gathering feedback from participants and providing reports to supporters. • Proposing ideas to improve each event. • Organizing all event details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invite list, special guests, equipment, promotional materials, etc. • Ensuring compliance with insurance, legal, health, and safety obligations. • Specifying staff and volunteer requirements and coordinating their efforts. • Working with the creative team to create and execute marketing plans for these events, including emails, mailers, social media content, online ads, etc. • Proactively handling any arising issues and troubleshooting any emerging problems related to the events. • Updating website with current event information and notices. • Directly oversee the Event Assistant, including delegation of tasks, training, feedback, and ongoing project management. • During slow periods, assist in other projects and tasks as needed. • Periodically attend events throughout the state, including on some nights and weekends, as a representative of Protect Life Michigan.
Development Administrative Assistant

• Manage administrative tasks related to the 3-3-3-Skip strategy, tracking and organizing monthly communication among Development Reps. • Draft, personalize, and send Cultivation Letters, including writing compelling changed-life stories based on partner interactions. • Manage mail-merging, printing, stamping, addressing, and mailing donor correspondence. • Maintain detailed records of partner interactions in CRM or Google Sheets. • Personalize outreach by referencing past interactions to build stronger relationships. • Serve as the first point of contact for inquiries via phone and email, maintaining professionalism and warmth. • Support the Executive Director in developing and sending out fundraising and stewardship emails as necessary. • Assist in planning and executing PLM’s Vision Dinners, including logistics, speaker coordination, guest communication, venue negotiations, volunteer coordination, table host recruitment oversight, and timelines. • Coordinate event volunteers and staff roles to ensure smooth and professional execution. • Manage the executive calendar, ensuring donor meetings, calls, and key events are scheduled efficiently while preventing conflicts. • Organize and maintain donor records and correspondence for easy access and retrieval. • Assist with general administrative duties, including data entry, document preparation, and CRM management. • Support leadership and development efforts by performing additional administrative tasks as needed.

• Assist in planning and executing PLM’s Vision Dinners, including logistics, speaker coordination, guest communication, venue negotiations, volunteer coordination, table host recruitment oversight, and timelines. • Manage RSVP tracking, table assignments, seating, check-in, and financial partner experience flow. • Coordinate event volunteers and staff roles to ensure smooth and professional execution. • Support follow-up strategies to maximize post-event engagement and long-term financial partner cultivation. • Help coordinate other, smaller financial partner events throughout the year (table host update dinners, namestorming parties, etc.) • Overseeing event logistics, including venue coordination and event materials. • Maintain detailed records of partner interactions in CRM and Google Sheets, keeping donor databases and contact lists up to date. • Maintain consistent messaging and branding across all donor communications, keeping in alignment with the Executive Director’s vision and communication style. • Serve as a point of contact for inquiries via phone and email, maintaining professionalism and warmth. • Monitor and respond to emails and calls, providing timely and thoughtful responses. • Assist with general administrative duties, including data entry, document preparation, and CRM management related to key partner events and the Vision Dinner. • Support leadership and development efforts by performing additional administrative tasks as needed.
