Role Description We're looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join our Professional Services team, with specialized expertise in leading migration projects for PLM systems. This is a pivotal role where you'll lead complex implementation projects for new and existing customers, ensuring seamless migrations of legacy PLM systems including processes and data while delivering exceptional customer outcomes. You'll be the technofunctional expert who transforms and maps years of engineering processes and supporting data—Parts, BOMs, CAD files, change orders, quality records, and more—into efficient workflows within the Propel platform leading to optimal UX and healthy adoption. What You'll Do - Lead Legacy System Migration Projects - Architect and execute large-scale migrations from legacy PLM/PDM/QMS systems (Teamcenter, Windchill, ENOVIA, Agile PLM, and more) to the Propel platform. - Facilitate business process workshops to map, design, and solution legacy process workflows in Propel by leveraging best practices and supported product and platform capabilities. - Lead data mapping sessions to extend Propel data model to support inbound source systems and integration to downstream. - Drive Project Success - Spearhead multiple client implementation projects concurrently, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with high customer satisfaction. - Collaborate with System Integrator (SI) partners to architect and execute innovative solutions. - Conduct business process workshops to map customer requirements to Propel's capabilities, recommending optimal configurations. - Provide Expert Consulting - Deliver high-level PLM and QMS business process consulting, influencing strategic decisions across diverse manufacturing industries. - Advise customers on integrating Propel with CAD systems (CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo) and ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). - Act as the subject matter expert (SME) in data mapping and migration best practices and system optimization. - Configure & Customize - Use Salesforce platform tools and Propel configuration capabilities to architect and optimize solution setup for client needs. - Design, develop, and deploy custom components, utilities, and integrations in collaboration with third-party solution providers. - Support Business Growth - Prepare compelling product demos and accurately scope data migration efforts for prospective clients. - Contribute to the refinement of Propel's service offerings based on field insights. Qualifications - 10+ years of hands-on experience with PLM or QMS systems, including multiple full-cycle implementations and system migrations. - Deep expertise in business process design, mapping, and solutioning from systems like Teamcenter, Windchill, ENOVIA, Agile PLM, Aras, or legacy PDM platforms. - Demonstrated capability in detailed project planning, executive communication, and team leadership. - Proven ability to create and deliver engaging and effective learning experiences, both synchronously and asynchronously. - Experience with database management (Oracle, SQL Server) and understanding of data structures in PLM and QMS environments. - Proven project management skills with the ability to deliver complex migrations on tight timelines. - Outstanding communication skills—you can explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Industry knowledge in manufacturing, medical devices, high-tech electronics, or semiconductor sectors. Requirements - Experience with Salesforce platform or solutions built on Salesforce. - Knowledge of BOM management (EBOM/MBOM), change management (ECOs/ECNs), and quality processes (CAPA, NCR). - Familiarity with CAD integrations and Workgroup Manager tools. - Experience with IPaSS or middleware platforms or similar integration tools. - Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ISO 13485, ITAR, GDPR). In this role you can expect to: - Become the high-tech manufacturing expert: Build deep knowledge of Propel’s product portfolio, differentiators, and buyer use cases—and be the internal “go-to” for how we win in high tech. - Own industry narrative and point of view: Define and communicate Propel’s perspective on the issues that matter most (faster innovation, supply chain risk, design reuse, quality/compliance, and AI across the product lifecycle). - Lead market and competitive intelligence: Stay close to the market through customer and sales conversations, analyst relationships, and primary/secondary research; translate insights into clear opportunities and recommendations. - Shape strategy and influence the roadmap: Partner tightly with Product Management to prioritize what we build next, and convert capabilities into differentiated positioning and messaging for the high-tech vertical. - Drive integrated campaigns for key personas: Work with Demand Gen/Marketing to plan and execute programs that resonate with engineering, operations, quality, and executive audiences - and support annual marketing planning tied to growth goals. - Own packaging, pricing, and deal support: Help set pricing/packaging aligned to market expectations and competitive context; equip Sales with pricing guidance and support complex deals when needed. - Deliver content and enablement that performs: Create a steady stream of high-impact content (sales enablement, demand gen, analyst/earned media, exec-ready assets), train go-to-market teams, and continuously improve based on performance metrics and market feedback. To be successful in this role you bring: - 10+ years of experience in the high technology manufacturing industry, including sectors such as telecommunications/networking, semiconductor equipment, hardware systems, or connected products. - Strong understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM), quality management systems (QMS), and related enterprise product development and operations technologies such as ERP/MES, CAD. - Demonstrated experience developing industry positioning, thought leadership, and go-to-market strategies that influence executive buyers. - Strong executive communication skills, storytelling ability, and presence with customers, analysts, and senior leadership. - Data-driven decision maker with experience using market insights and performance analytics to guide strategy. - Collaborative team leader who thrives in cross-functional environments and believes no task is too big or too small. - Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills across customers, partners, and internal teams. - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience required. MBA or comparable advanced degree preferred. - Willingness to travel approximately 10 - 20% to company headquarters, customer locations, and industry events. $185,000 - $210,000 a year Please note the salary range shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. The Field Enablement Manager is responsible for building and executing Propel’s enablement function to ensure consistent, high-performance across customer-facing teams. This role designs and operationalizes the programs, tools, and reinforcement mechanisms that enable internal GTM teams and partner sellers to effectively generate pipeline, acquire new logos, and drive expansion. Working cross-functionally with multiple internal and partner GTM teams, this leader will establish standardized learning frameworks, train on sales execution methodologies, and drive performance improvement programs that translate strategy into measurable outcomes. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, helping Propel’s go-to-market organization continuously improve pipeline creation, win rates, deal velocity, and quota attainment as the company scales. Define and run the field enablement strategy and cadence for onboarding, ongoing training, certifications, and reinforcement across GTM roles. Set role readiness standards and expectations for field execution with Sales Leadership and Revenue Operations. Drive adoption of sales methodologies and best practices across the full sales cycle (discovery through close). Own GTM curriculum in the LMS, including enrollment, certification tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement. Govern field-facing content in the content management platform, including taxonomy, lifecycle management, version control, and accessibility. Build and maintain structured learning paths and enablement assets (playbooks, talk tracks, messaging, scripts, templates, and deal tools) aligned to roles and product/positioning updates. Partner with Product Marketing to translate product launches, competitive intelligence, and positioning into field-ready programs that build product and industry fluency.
