Role Description We are seeking a skilled Piping Designer to support steam turbine generator (STG) projects within an EPC project environment. This role delivers constructible piping designs from concept through detailed engineering while supporting procurement and construction activities. - Develop piping layouts and detailed designs for STG systems including main steam, reheat, extraction, auxiliary steam, condensate, and drains. - Create and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings including GA drawings, isometrics, plans, sections, and details. - Coordinate with piping engineers, stress analysts, civil/structural, electrical, I&C, procurement, vendors, and construction teams. - Incorporate vendor data and turbine package drawings into project designs. - Support clash detection, model reviews, and constructability assessments. - Ensure compliance with ASME B31 piping codes and project specifications. - Support procurement and respond to construction RFIs and field changes. - Assist with pipe support layout and coordination. - Participate in site visits, field walkdowns, and brownfield tie-ins. - Maintain drawing revisions and document control per EPC procedures. Qualifications - Associate degree or technical diploma in Drafting, Design, or Mechanical Engineering Technology. - 5+ years of piping design experience on power generation or heavy industrial EPC projects. - Experience with high-pressure, high-temperature steam systems. - Proficiency with Inventor, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and AutoCAD. - Strong understanding of EPC execution phases. - Knowledge of ASME B31 codes, piping materials, valves, fittings, and supports. - Ability to read P&IDs, equipment data sheets, and vendor drawings. - Strong organizational and communication skills. Requirements - Experience with combined cycle, fossil, cogeneration, or renewable power EPC projects. - Exposure to pipe stress analysis coordination and thermal growth considerations. - Brownfield or retrofit project experience. - Construction support or field engineering experience. - Experience working with multi-office EPC teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS: Gain specific knowledge of our company’s Product Line and our capabilities so as to understand all of our capabilities. Past experience with ProcessBarron products and services in key industries is valued. Submit and Monitor progress of RFQ’s using the internal systems and processes; follow up if the terms change or if a deadline has passed. Monitor the submittal of information and track progress with the customer. Report all Contract submittals to track our win/loss rate. Monitor the Production and field operational schedule to ensure accuracy. Work with the Field Operations and Safety to ensure all involved have a clear understanding of the scope and they are suited to the job. Track all of your in progress jobs on a daily basis to ensure the customer is satisfied and there are no unexpected delays. Be proactive in managing the jobs’ changes to ensure we get change orders when necessary and that the customer is satisfied with the work. Follow up with post-job deliverables as the customer’s advocate i.e. outage reports, billing questions, etc. Maintain close working relationships with your Sales Reps and ensure they clearly understand our entire line of products and services. Proactively support any sales initiatives i.e. Red Dot Initiative. Get to know and follow closely your customer’s outage schedule Maintain and submit expense reports at least monthly ATTRIBUTES: Problem Solving – uses logic and methods to help solve problems.
