Role Description We are seeking a mid-level Power BI & SQL Data Analyst to support and enhance our business intelligence and reporting capabilities. This role is ideal for a professional with strong hands-on experience in Power BI and SQL who can independently deliver production-ready reports and dashboards while collaborating with business stakeholders and senior technical staff. Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards used by operational teams and leadership. - Write, optimize, and maintain T-SQL queries, views, and stored procedures in Microsoft SQL Server and MS Analysis Services. - Support and enhance existing data models used for reporting and analytics. - Assist with ETL processes (SSIS or similar tools) to load and transform data from source systems. - Work with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into Power BI solutions. - Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot reporting, data quality, or performance issues. - Document reports, datasets, and data flows to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing. - Collaborate with senior team members on larger BI and data initiatives. Qualifications - 4–5 years of experience in a Power BI, Business Intelligence, or SQL-focused data role. - Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, Power Query, and intermediate DAX. - Solid proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL), including complex queries, stored procedures, and basic performance tuning. - Experience supporting production BI reports and dashboards used by business stakeholders or leadership. - Working knowledge of data warehousing concepts and reporting best practices. - Ability to independently gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective, user-friendly Power BI solutions. - Comfortable troubleshooting data quality, performance, and reporting issues in an existing environment. - Strong communication skills with the ability to explain data insights to non-technical users.
