Role Description The Merchant I is responsible for building, communicating and executing merchandising strategies that meet or exceed financial goals, in support of the Directors’ overall strategy and business imperatives. They will lead, inspire, train, and develop a team of Merchandisers, and Buyers. Achieve revenue and profit growth through competitive intelligence, consumer insights, industry expertise, and business knowledge. Drive key purchasing decisions and business performance of merchandise categories through early planning and strategy implementation. - Prudently manage the budget for the merchandising division, optimizing purchases to achieve a marked reduction in operating inventory while consistently surpassing performance targets. - Achieve sales performance and KPIs targets, implementing adaptive strategies to attain year-over-year revenue growth and an amplified EBITDA. - Strategically manage assigned categories, establishing a well thought out cycle of rationalization, liquidation, and new product selection. - Cultivate and sustain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with vendors, expertly negotiating terms and agreements that drive down procurement costs while also improving profitability through establishment and enforcement of vendor programs. - Develop strategic ecommerce sales techniques maximizing conversion of web traffic to revenue. - Create strategies for everyday pricing, promotional pricing, liquidation pricing to drive incremental revenue growth and margin. - Collaborate with demand planning to develop process and communication channels to minimize stock outages and maximize growth potential. - Review and approve replenishment buyer purchase orders ensuring that purchases in excess of forecast are justified. - Track and achieve inventory levels and turn projections based on forecasted sales. - Monitor supplier performance to ensure purchasing agreements are met, products are delivered timely and invoiced properly. - Creatively determine other sales techniques to move stagnant inventory and assess the need of streamlining product line. - Strategically define and maintain products and hierarchy in online systems and subsequent corresponding systems. - Champion enrichment data completeness and accuracy through QC and collaboration with DMT. - Foster a culture of professional development through training, mentorship, and teamwork with both peers and subordinates. - Works with other managers, directors, and executives within the company through proper channels to engage in capital projects. - All other duties, as assigned. Qualifications - Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or comparable experience. - Minimum of 4 years proven experience in merchandising and purchasing comparable positions. - Proficient with ERP systems and software such as Microsoft Excel, Bi, and PowerPoint. - Strong skills in statistics, mathematics, and analytics. - Self-motivated, strong planning, organizational and time management skills. - Effective communication skills with all levels of the business and be able to reconcile differences in understanding and vision. - Be accountable for you, and your employees’ work performance and all actions regarding the duties and responsibilities as it relates to your position. - Maintains a positive attitude, is goal driven and focused on the betterment and overall strategic picture of the organization. Working Conditions - Hours are somewhat flexible, with employees required to attend both team and individual meetings. - Occasionally additional hours may be optional or mandatory to complete essential tasks. - All work is performed within an office environment with occasional warehouse exposure. - Occasional travel may be required. Physical Requirements - Merchants will have to spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers. - Worker may be required to lift objects weighing from less than 20 lbs. to 40 lbs. on rare occasion. - May also be required to walk and stand for long periods during occasional trade show seasons. Role Description The Customer Service Representative handles customer inquiries and complaints with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism to resolve outstanding issues. This position provides alternative solutions where appropriate for sales orders, returns and/or repairs with the objective of retaining customer business. Customer Service Representatives demonstrate continuity by ensuring all platforms and systems are updated as required that provides data for further analyzing. This position utilizes critical thinking skills, as well as decision-making skills for prompt resolution that has a positive ending result for the customer and the company. Duties and Responsibilities - Responsible for providing real-time information regarding sales orders, repairs, and returns to the customer. - Provide "One Call" resolution to customers who have additional needs regarding their order, replacement, or accessories. - Continually maintain working knowledge of all company products, services, and promotions and proactively seek out further training and knowledge base if needed. - Ensuring a proactive approach is taken in corresponding with customers regarding any order they may have. - May be required to work in one or multiple queues/skill sets over various customer contact channels, including email, chat, and phone, depending on the customer needs. - Illustrate critical thinking by ensuring all resources that have been provided are utilized and updated in real-time prior to escalating any customer to a higher level. - Prioritize customer orders by ensuring all Key Performance Indicators are met by continuing to request necessary information required for customer satisfaction, up to escalation, if needed. - Continuously demonstrate willingness to assist in all aspects of our customer life cycle upon completion of training. - All other duties, as assigned. Qualifications - High School Diploma or equivalent. - Proficient experience operating a computer in several different platforms. - Excellent oral, written, and leadership skills. - Time management & organizational skills are essential. - Maintain confidentiality as required. - Must have a designated work area that is noise and distraction-free (Photos will be required for verification of this requirement). - Must provide your own internet with a minimum of 50 MBPS. - Must have a minimum of 2 years Customer Service Call Center experience. Preferred Qualifications - Firearms experience. - PSA Manufacturing experience. Working Conditions While performing the duties of this position, the employee is subject to a typical office environment, including heavy PC and phone usage. Work is performed in an open office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Specific job assignments may require day, evening, weekend, or holiday hours. Overtime may be required based on workload. Additional training may be required based on business needs. Role Description The Senior Data Engineer is responsible for managing the development and maintenance of the company’s data infrastructure and analytics pipelines. This role focuses on creating simple, scalable, and high-performing data solutions to support business intelligence and AI initiatives. - Architect and oversee data warehouse technical designs in Snowflake to ensure scalability, stability, and security. - Develop and maintain automated data integration pipelines using ETL platforms and Snowflake to ingest data from various business systems. - Build and optimize transformation layers and data models to support reporting and visualization in Power BI. - Contribute directly to the design, development, and deployment of AI tools and machine learning datasets. - Enforce code quality standards and peer review processes to ensure the stability of the data environment. - Maintain technical documentation for all data models, integrations, and transformation logic. - Troubleshoot data discrepancies and pipeline failures, developing long-term fixes rather than temporary workarounds. - Collaborate extensively with the Chief Analytics Officer and project teams to translate business requirements into technical data solutions. - Research and provide feedback on new AI/ML technologies and data tools being considered for implementation. - All other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and data engineering best practices. - 3-4 years of experience with advanced Database administration and development. - Extensive knowledge of SQL for complex data transformation and optimization. - 3-4 years of experience writing Python code for data automation and scripting. - Experience with enterprise integration platforms and BI tools. - Demonstrated ability to research and resolve complex data problems using a variety of resources. - Strong planning and organizational skills to manage multiple data work efforts simultaneously. Working Conditions - On-call availability for rotation during the week and weekends. - Remote work.
