PRN Admissions Coordinator

Role Description The Admissions Coordinator has primary responsibility for all front-end functions, including fielding inquiries, conducting clinical screenings, and scheduling client admissions to appropriate treatment facilities. The Admissions Coordinator shall receive all referral calls and web inquiries, handle them courteously and appropriately, and enter them into the appropriate databases. The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for facilitating admissions into the PHP, IOP, and Virtual IOP levels of care with potential clients, families, and referral sources. The Admissions Coordinator shall coordinate all front-end activity with the Office Coordinator and Executive Director at the relevant Outpatient Center(s). Essential Responsibilities - Handles inquiries appropriately and effectively, communicating knowledge of all programs, prices, level of care, and admission protocols. - Presents overall key program talking points, features, and benefits, for designated Outpatient locations. - Utilizes appropriate bonding techniques to establish rapport, build relationships, and enhance customer service and support. - Communicates with referents, clients, and families appropriately and effectively. Uses the referral process to build relationships with new referents and engages in collaboration with referents. - Assesses all for potential admissions and makes LOC determinations based on treatment needs and refers to the appropriate level of care. - Completes all required paperwork to facilitate a smooth admission process into all levels of care. - Plans and coordinates all admissions and acts as the “concierge” to ensure that the admissions process proceeds smoothly. - Communicates clinical and treatment needs of potential admissions to the clinical team. - Follows up on all open referral calls/cases with the potential resident, family, referent, and/or marketing team member until the case is closed or admitted. - Facilitates communication with designated Outpatient Office Coordinator and/or Outpatient Executive Director as needed for each admission. - Ensures follow-up with referral sources following admissions, discharges, and during the treatment process. - Ability to work remotely, making full use of software platforms to effectively communicate with onsite teams. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in counseling or social work field preferred. - Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the mental healthcare field. - Admissions experience in a fast-paced environment strongly preferred. Role Description The Psychiatrist is primarily responsible for clinical supervision and oversight of psychiatric nurse practitioners, conducting psychiatric evaluations, medication consultation and collaboration with community prescribers. This is a remote position; however, you must be a Board Eligible or Board-Certified Psychiatrist in California. All necessary requirements must be met to practice adult psychiatry in the state of California. Position Responsibilities - Provides clinical supervision and oversight to psychiatric nurse practitioners in accordance with state and federal regulations. - Reviews and co-sign documentation as required by law and organizational policy. - Conducts psychiatric evaluations for individuals enrolled in the PHP. - Provides medication management services for individuals enrolled in PHP as needed. Available at least weekly and by telephone in unusual or urgent situations related to medication. - Directs and collaborates with staff on clinical activities and interventions. - Provides consultation to community referrals as needed to ensure successful disposition of former patients. - Completes medical record and other documentation in a timely and accurate manner as needed to meet clinical, payer and other requirements. - Participates in marketing and outreach events on occasion. - Performs other activities as requested by the Director and assumes other appropriate medical responsibilities as necessary. Qualifications - Board Eligible or Board-Certified Psychiatrist. All necessary requirements must be met to practice adult psychiatry in the state of California. - Experience with mental health PHP/IOP and/or psychiatric hospital experience desired. - Superior communication skills working with patients, family members, community stakeholders and staff. - Minimum of two (2) years of management experience in a behavioral health setting such as a hospital, outpatient clinic, or related service provider required. - Minimum of two (2) years of experience treating the adult mental health population. - Experience with co-occurring disorders and/or substance use disorders a plus. - Performs duties independently, responsibly and with a high level of integrity. Compensation Range $200.00-$350.00/hr. Role Description The VIOP Therapist is a licensed clinician who provides individual and group therapy sessions for clients in an Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization within a virtual setting. VIOP Therapists assess the therapeutic needs of clients, develop appropriate treatment plans, and facilitate group, family, and individual therapy sessions. The position collaborates with clients, team members, external clinical partners, and family members, as appropriate, to coordinate care throughout the treatment process. Position Responsibilities Essential Responsibilities - Facilitates group, family, and individual therapy sessions in accordance with the clinical program schedule. - Completes psychosocial evaluations, treatment plans, contact logs, discharge plans, and other reports in compliance with State, accrediting bodies, quality guidelines, and payor source guidelines. - Completes all necessary documentation within prescribed format and timelines. - Ensures documentation reflects ongoing assessments of client’s clinical presentation and behaviors. - Facilitates specialized groups as assigned based on education, training, and experience; supervises and/or co-leads groups with clinical interns, when appropriate. - Selects appropriate interventions to meet the clinical needs of individual clients. - Maintains therapeutic relationships with clients using praise and other reinforcers to encourage appropriate behaviors and attitudes. - Sets limits and holds boundaries in a kind and firm manner. - Conducts effective verbal crisis intervention and de-escalation involving other team members, as needed. - Collaborates with an interdisciplinary treatment team to coordinate client care from admission through discharge. - Attends clinical, consultation, and operations meetings; serves as a clinical advocate for assigned cases. - Communicates client progress with the referral sources, families, parents, and/or guardians, as appropriate. - Addresses clients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in a welcoming and respectful manner. - Responds to clients and families with empathy and positive professional skills. Additional Responsibilities - Can be relied upon to be at work as scheduled, proactively notifying supervisor of planned and unplanned time off needs. - Reads, understands, and adheres to all company policy statements on ethics, conduct, and conflict of interests; adheres to facility policies, procedures, rules, and regulations. - Maintains a positive attitude and acts as a team player with others on the team. - Attends and completes all trainings within assigned time frames. - Completes other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or psychology. - California clinical licensure required (LPC, LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD). - Colorado clinical licensure is a significant plus! Licensure in other states is a plus (TN, FL, VA, MI, NC, PA, AL, OH). - Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with clients with a primary mental health diagnosis.
