Role Description Norgine is seeking an engaged, strategic, and collaborative Key Account Manager with strong experience in rare diseases and/or oncology to join its Oncology and Rare Diseases business unit in Italy. This role will play a critical part in supporting Norgine’s growth in new therapeutic areas. The Key Account Manager will lead commercial activities for Norgine’s rare disease portfolio within the assigned territory in Italy. The role requires: - Strategic account planning - Stakeholder engagement - Market analysis - Strong cross-functional collaboration to support successful product adoption in complex healthcare settings Proven experience in rare disease launches is highly valued, together with a positive, constructive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a genuine team-oriented approach. Business Planning - Contribute to the development of annual business plans; input to the development of business cases for key activities/projects and with estimating the financial and human resources required to deliver performance targets. - Develop, monitor, and deliver regional business plan and oversee creation and implementation of high-quality planning process. - Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and customer acquisition. - Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to evaluate individual and team performance. - Proactively identify & manage opportunities and risks. Qualifications - Degree in scientific, economic, or related disciplines (Master’s in Market Access, Health Economics, or Public Affairs preferred). - Experience in similar roles within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. - In-depth knowledge of Italian healthcare regulations and regional reimbursement and purchasing processes. - Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. - Strong team player with a cross-functional mindset and results-oriented approach. - Willingness to travel frequently across the assigned territory.
