As Senior Project Manager you will have a blend of responsibilities that will require a hands-on approach in being a key contributor to the IT Operations team. Role and Responsibilities: - Build and maintain client relationships, understanding and documenting their specific requirements. - Manage project phases efficiently, ensuring timely, budget-compliant completion. - Lead stakeholder meetings, providing regular project updates and communication. - Create detailed project plans, establish goals, budgets, and resource needs. - Identify and escalate project risks as appropriate. - Keep accurate records of project changes, adhering to change management protocols. - Allocate tasks and manage daily operations within the project team. - Facilitate regular meetings to set and review project objectives. - Provide project status updates in managerial meetings. - Support deployments and releases, including after-hours supervision. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders on IT projects related to Infrastructure, Data Operations, Integration, and Security. - Lead business centric, IT driven projects, that align with the organizational goals. Support corporate digital transformation initiatives. - Manage integration and security projects, ensuring system connectivity and data protection. - Conduct risk assessments focusing on infrastructure security and data integrity. - Control project timelines and budgets, ensuring efficient resource utilization. - Maintain clear communication within project teams for consistent progress. - Create and uphold project documentation. - Coordinate with external partners for project success. - Stay updated with IT industry trends and apply these to current and future projects. - Ensure regulatory compliance in project execution. - Offer technical guidance and foster a collaborative environment within project teams. - Assist in developing IT policies and procedures for operational efficiency and security. - Address additional IT needs as the organization evolves and perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field, with a minimum of 8 years in project management. - Comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure, data operations, system integration, and cybersecurity. - Demonstrated success in managing complex IT projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery. - Proficient in project management methodologies like Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall. - Exceptional problem-solving skills, adept in handling intricate IT challenges. - Strong leadership and communication abilities, with experience guiding diverse teams and effectively engaging with various stakeholders. - Skilled in risk management, quality assurance, and compliance with IT regulatory standards. - Agile and adaptable to evolving technology landscapes, implementing IT best practices. - Excellent organizational skills, capable of juggling multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines. - Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Microsoft Project). - Project Management (PMP) or IT Service Management (ITIL) certification are required. - Proactive, creative, and collaborative with a detail-oriented mindset. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with a strong passion for technology and client-focused flexibility. - Background in IT or application projects within fintech or related sectors, especially in the Canadian mortgage industry, is advantageous. Role Description We are seeking a highly technical Senior ServiceNow Engineer with strong expertise in CSM, ITSM, and advanced portal development (ESC Pro and employee experience portals). This is an engineering-first role focused on building scalable ServiceNow solutions through advanced scripting, secure portal development, integrations, and automation. Reporting to the Manager, Process Automation Team, you will design and optimize workflows, integrations, and platform capabilities that support business-critical service operations. The ideal candidate has a strong engineering mindset, exceptional debugging and problem-solving skills, and a passion for building secure, scalable solutions that improve platform performance and user experience. This role requires someone comfortable working independently in a remote environment, collaborating across technical and functional teams, and maintaining strong documentation and technical communication practices. Primary Responsibilities - Platform Engineering & Development - Design and develop complex ServiceNow solutions across CSM and ITSM. - Build advanced Service Portal / Employee Center experiences using: - AngularJS - Custom widgets - UI Builder components - Server & client controllers - Architect secure external and internal portal access using: - ACL strategy - Role-based access controls - Domain-aware design principles - Develop modular, reusable components using: - Script Includes - Business Rules - Client Scripts - UI Actions - GlideAjax - Design scalable data models and scoped applications. - Automation & Integration - Build robust integrations using: - Integration Hub spokes - Scripted REST APIs - Outbound REST/SOAP calls - Flow Designer custom actions - Implement event-driven automation patterns. - Optimize performance of large data sets and high-volume workflows. - Develop error handling, logging, and monitoring strategies. - Governance & Platform Optimization - Define coding standards and peer review practices. - Participate in upgrade planning and remediation. - Optimize instance performance and technical debt. - Implement reporting and analytics to measure platform effectiveness.
