Join us as a Business Model Designer, Transformation Take on a high-profile role, where you’ll own the end-to-end high-level business design for projects, programmes, or initiatives You’ll be working with a range of stakeholders to identify priorities, define opportunities and re shape the business to meet our strategic goals This is a chance to shape the future of our business and gain great exposure across the bank in the process What you'll do As a Business Model Designer, you’ll engage with relevant stakeholders as a single point of contact for design aspects. You’ll be representing the design function at governance forums and working with key stakeholders across the bank to make sure the designs meet the standards, requirements, and principles defined. You’ll also develop requirements into coherent end-to-end designs, taking an understanding of business operating model and architecture into account. Other duties include: Translating requirements into a series of transition state designs and an executable roadmap Driving and delivering optimal designs for the business and aligning solutions with the corresponding business or IT architecture Documenting the relevant design in accordance with standard methods to enable decision making and senior stakeholder buy-in Making sure the design is aligned to the portfolio or enterprise architecture target state and associated business strategies The skills you'll need You’ll already have a background in either business model solution design or strategic transformation and significant experience of using suitable models and tools. Alongside excellent communication skills, such as verbal, visual, and written, you’ll also need the ability to lead and collaborate with both internal and external teams. We’ll also want to see: Knowledge of the non-personal, Commercial and Institutional, business domain with an understanding of key elements A broad understanding of the financial services environment and regulatory frameworks An expert understanding of external influences and advances that impact design Experience in a consulting or strategic advisory type capacity; working with groups of executive and senior leaders to drive, influence, and engage around transformational decisions

• Collaborate with team on prototyping and validating potential solutions • Create a strategy for assigned product areas • Analyze research and data, talk to customers, and review feature requests • Prioritize squad backlog in consultation with the cross-functional team and stakeholders • Split epics into detailed user stories and feature specifications • Work with Engineering Manager and technology leads to set objectives for sprints

• Define and lead strategic change programmes, programme and project lifecycles • Deliver sustainable business and customer outcomes • Define the programme in partnership with stakeholders • Build and maintain positive working relationships with senior stakeholders • Manage programme level risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies

• Support the architecting of customer centric, high performance, secure, robust and sustainable end to end client journeys • Contribute to the development of architecture capabilities by proactively building personal capability and sharing knowledge • Support the realisation of enterprise and solution architectures • Participate in design reviews for programmes with high architectural significance or risk • Help drive the adoption of the bank’s target architecture by educating stakeholders and delivery partners • Monitor emerging technologies, identifying potential opportunities and threats • Promote a DevOps mindset by embedding architecture guidance in CI/CD pipelines

• Designing and developing high performance and high availability applications, using proven frameworks and technologies • Monitoring the technical progress against plans while safeguarding functionality, scalability and performance, and providing progress updates to stakeholders • Designing and developing reusable libraries and APIs for use across the bank • Writing unit and integration tests within automated test environments to ensure code quality

• Take responsibility for one of the key divisions • Facilitate incidents by providing support for domain leaders • Ensure timely resolution of incidents • Maintain accurate records and communication of status to clients and stakeholders • Facilitate the Post Incident Review process • Support analysis of incident data • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Operations and other departments

• Supervise the audit engagement team and support them through coaching • Deliver a flexible and risk-based audit plan that addresses regulatory requirements • Provide quality, efficient and effective assurance and influence business managers to improve controls • Lead and coach audit team to deliver audits within budget and on time • Leverage audit methodology and tools • Manage key stakeholders throughout audit engagements • Support assurance over significant change initiatives

• Understand and ensure robust security is considered throughout the development lifecycle • Collaborate with feature teams and participate in story refinement, sprint planning, and retrospective sessions • Make decisions based on robust data and value measures • Encourage ideas and drive delivery of initiatives to reduce costs and simplify processes • Build and leverage relationships across the bank and third parties for commercially focused decisions

• Drive assurance across regular audit engagements by supporting assurance planning • Ensure coverage of key risks • Collaborate with Internal Audit teams • Comply with regulatory requirements for the function • Lead Independent Price Verification (IPV) audit activities • Ensure the audit approach for Front Office traded instruments aligns with methodologies and regulatory requirements • Undertake assurance fieldwork and ensure team's work is delivered on time • Deliver a risk-based assurance plan over IPV processes • Act as an ambassador for Internal Audit • Lead and coach the audit team • Ensure compliance with global methodology within engagements • Manage key stakeholders throughout audit engagements

• take full ownership of the end-to-end communication strategy • draft and execute all messaging for end customers • collaborate with Content Designers and Risk colleagues • partner with colleagues to explore AI skills • work alongside and coordinate the delivery of notifications • support the wider team in the delivery of service communications • navigate internal sign-off processes rapidly • participate in post-incident reviews
