Title: Senior Networking Security Engineer Location: Kansas City Full time Job Description: Job Description: The ITG division of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Networking Security Engineer. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the organization's network infrastructure to ensure security, reliability, and optimal performance. This role focuses on maintaining standards, improving systems, and supporting business continuity. . This is a full-time hybrid position, in a positive and flexible environment. Residency within 100 miles of the Kansas City office is required. Responsibilities Include: - Design, implement, and manage enterprise network security systems, including firewalls, WAFs, DNS web filtering, and secure traffic flows. - Serve as a technical authority on network availability, performance, segmentation, and secure architecture. - Translate security policies, procedures, and standards into network architecture and configurations. - Configure, optimize, and maintain firewall platforms, including policy management, upgrades, and vulnerability mitigation. - Keep up to date on new product features, industry developments, emerging security threats, and evolving network technologies to maintain industry-leading expertise. - Maintain clear documentation, standards, runbooks, and operational procedures. - Respond to network alerts and outages promptly, including after-hours support. Management Responsibilities: This position does not have direct reports. Minimum Education and/or Experience Required: - Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year College or university in a computer related field and 8+ years of experience in firewall management and/or equivalent combination of education and technical experience. - Hands-on experience with on-premises and AWS networking (Azure and OCI experience are a plus). - Ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred Experience: - Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments (e.g., SOC 2, GovRAMP, PCI, HIPAA). - Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, Network+, CCNP, AWS Certified Security, PCNSE) are a plus. - Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, SIEMS, or other relevant enterprise networking/security technologies. Title: Communications Traffic Manager & Marketing Coordinator Location: Washington, DC Full time Job Description: The Communications division of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) has an exciting opportunity for Communications Traffic Manager & Marketing Coordinator. This position is the central contact for managing the flow of projects and marketing assets within the NAIC’s Communications team. This role ensures that all deliverables—press materials, social media content, email campaigns, and creative assets—move efficiently through the production process. In addition to traffic coordination, this position provides hands-on support for social media posting, email marketing, and basic content task This is a full-time, hybrid position. Residency within 100 miles of the Kansas City, Missouri or Washington D.C. office is required. Responsibilities Include Project & Traffic Management - Serve as the central point of contact for incoming requests; triage, assign, and track work across the Communications team in partnership with the Director of Communications. - Coordinate cross-department and vendor collaboration, including scheduling project meetings, managing logistics, and ensuring senior-level support has needed information. - Develop and maintain project timelines, templates, calendars, and status trackers; monitor deadlines, flag bottlenecks, and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts. - Manage creative asset workflow (graphics, copy, video) across internal teams and external vendors, including quality review/approvals; provide weekly progress reports and stakeholder updates. Content and Public Relations Support - Assist with drafting, distributing, scheduling, and publishing approved external content across social, web, and email marketing channels. - Track campaign performance and prepare summary reports and stakeholder updates. Title: Regulatory Enablement Lead (SERFF and AI Solutions) Location: Kansas City Job Description: Job Description: The Information Technology (ITG) division of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) has an exciting opportunity for a Regulatory Enablement Lead (SERFF and AI Solutions). The Regulatory Enablement Lead is responsible for onboarding, enablement, and sustained adoption of CLARA (Compliance Language Assistant for Regulatory Analysis) and other regulator-facing AI solutions. This role bridges product, technology, and regulatory users to support effective adoption and expansion of regulatory tools. This is a full-time remote position. Residency within a 100-mile radius of the office Kansas City, MO is required. Responsibilities Include - Serve as the primary external point of contact for regulatory organizations interested in CLARA, leading outreach, onboarding, and enablement activities. - Coordinate training, documentation, and guidance to support effective and consistent use of CLARA. - Coordinate day‑to‑day responses to user questions, workflow challenges, and enablement needs. - Collect, synthesize, and communicate user feedback to inform ongoing product and technical improvements. - Track adoption, usage patterns, and onboarding progress to support data‑informed decision‑making. - Develop and maintain enablement materials, playbooks, and best practices for CLARA. - Identify and champion additional use cases for regulatory enablement tools and processes.
