About the role: - Define and steward Myer’s content and publishing strategy, ensuring alignment with brand positioning, commercial priorities and customer experience goals. - Lead the transition to a high-performing in-house content model, establishing team structures, workflows, governance frameworks and ways of working. - Partner with the GM Marketing and Creative Director to align content strategy with brand strategy, campaign priorities and the broader marketing calendar. - Lead the Social Media team in developing and executing always-on social strategies for Myer brand, Myer Exclusive Brands, Marcs and David Lawrence ensuring each brand has a distinct, ownable social voice. - Set platform strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, Facebook and emerging channels, tailored to each brand’s audience and commercial objectives. - Lead the Influencer Marketing team in building and executing a best-in-class influencer strategy across Myer brand, Myer Exclusive Brands, Marcs and David Lawrence. - Develop a tiered creator ecosystem — spanning macro, mid-tier and micro influencers that amplifies brand storytelling, drives product discovery and supports commercial outcomes across categories. - Oversee influencer content briefing, production, approval and performance measurement, ensuring brand alignment and commercial effectiveness. - Partner with PR & Corporate Affairs to align influencer and media relations activity, maximising earned amplification of key brand and commercial moments. - Build and lead Myer’s Production function, creating the infrastructure, capabilities and workflows to support a high-volume, always-on content model. - Oversee the production of photo, video, motion and social-first content ensuring creative quality, brand consistency and channel appropriateness across every output. - Manage relationships with external production, photography, video and post-production partners, ensuring quality, cost efficiency and brand alignment. - Directly manage the Social Media Managers and Traffic Manager; provide dotted-line leadership - across the broader publishing team. - Partner closely with the Creative Director to ensure editorial and visual outputs are aligned and - production-ready. - Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture with clear expectations, development pathways, and accountability structures. - Set and maintain editorial standards, tone of voice and content guidelines across all owned channels and brand expressions. - Ensure compliance with platform policies, advertising standards, influencer disclosure requirements and Myer’s brand and legal guidelines. - Partner with eCommerce on content integration across the Myer website, app, and digital touchpoints. - Work with the Traffic Manager to ensure production pipelines are efficient, deadline-driven, and scalable. - Drive adoption of content systems across the broader marketing function. About you: - 10 + years in content, publishing, editorial, or integrated marketing roles with at least 3 years in a senior leadership capacity. - Proven experience building or scaling an in-house content function, ideally within retail - Strong background in digital content strategy, social media and editorial planning across multiple channels. - Experience managing cross-functional teams and working within complex, matrixed organisations. - Demonstrated ability to translate commercial briefs into compelling editorial content strategies - Exceptional editorial judgement and an instinct for what resonates across digital platforms. - Strong project and program management skills, with the ability to lead multiple workstreams simultaneously. - Commercially minded with the ability to connect content activity to measurable business outcomes. - Confident communicator and storyteller — able to influence and present at senior levels. - A deep understanding of the Australian retail and fashion landscape is highly desirable Benefits to you: We're committed to providing a positive and supportive environment, where our team members are empowered to reach their full potential. Prepare technical specifications of your print artwork designs that are suitable for production including briefing the placement, size, colouration, and type of printing methodology. - Work with buyers on elevating product via sourcing opportunities to push the brands handwriting forward develop appropriate qualities, sampling and pricing. About You: - Tertiary education in design or equivalent industry experience related to the design role. - 6+ years' experience in a design or product development role or retail equivalent. - Advanced understanding of the market, customer segmentation, trends, and competitive landscape. - Proven ability to interpret international trends for Australian market and communicate these effectively. - Strong understanding of construction methods and garment finishing, and strong knowledge of fabric finishes, treatments, washes, weights, and fabric properties. - High proficiency using Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. - Familiarity with Microsoft Applications. - Retail, financial and business acumen. - Experience working for a medium size retailer a benefit. - Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, working closely with the buying team, QA and sourcing team. - Strong time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities. About the role: Lead & facilitate the operational & strategic management of our specialised in-house team to deliver best-in-class Paid Social and Programmatic Display/Video media across the MYER Group portfolio. Responsibilities: - Full responsibility for day-to-day operations, marketing channels strategy, planning, ad ops, budget management, reporting, optimisation and analysis. - Develop and refine ways of working between internal stakeholders as well as technical processes to ensure optimal delivery of campaigns - Hands-on technical implementation within relevant marketing platforms to deliver campaigns which meet core KPIs - Enhance our first party data strategy and personalisation across programmatic & social media channels using Data Clean Room technology. - Ensure the MYER Group is at the forefront of new developments within programmatic media. - Manage relationships with external suppliers, including key media partners, brand safety & verification partners, martech vendors and external agencies. - Manage, monitor and optimise the programmatic supply chain for all Myer activity bought through DSPs - Manage, motivate and develop a team. About you: - Proven experience in paid programmatic media - including Social, Display and Video - Demonstrable hands-on experience using buying and measurement platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, TikTok, Ads Manager, Google DV360 (or equivalent DSP) & Campaign Manager 360. - Recent hands-on experience and knowledge of tools, processes and ecosystems - A strong understanding of audience management and related tools such as DMPs, CDPs and/or Data Clean Rooms - A strong understanding of the media landscape and the role Social, Display and Video can play within broader marketing campaigns - Proficiency within analytics tools such as Google Analytics accompanied by an understanding of campaign tracking and measurement - Commercially minded, driving the best results for the MYER Group - Strong leader, with the ability to motivate and mobilise a team to be reactive to change.
