Role Description We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager who loves building impactful products, solving complex problems, and turning ideas into scalable experiences customers genuinely love. This is a high-impact role with strong ownership and visibility across the organization. You’ll help shape product strategy, influence business direction, and drive key initiatives during an exciting stage of growth and product evolution. We move fast, experiment often, and care deeply about creating products that make a real difference for our customers. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Marketing, Sales, and Leadership teams to define what we build, why we build it, and how we bring it to market successfully. About the role As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you’ll be the first outreach to prospective customers, educating them on how Momence can help grow their business and free up valuable time. This is an inside sales role, focused on cold calling outbound leads, with the goal of booking meetings with prospective customers for our Account Executives. Your quota is based on qualified opportunities produced from your booked meetings. You will: - Introduce prospective customers to Momence via cold calls and emails; while there may be occasional work with warm leads, the core focus of this role is cold calling - Drive lead generation for the sales team by creating qualified opportunities - Identify influencers and decision makers in an organization - Manage sales activities, opportunities, and account information in our CRM (Hubspot) This role supports Momence’s top-of-the-funnel outbound lead qualification. We like to set the expectation that new SDRs will spend about 12 months learning, growing, and contributing to the team in this role before looking to progress to another role within Momence. You’ve got the sales know-how; we’ve got the Momence know-how. We’ll set you up with the training, information, leadership, and teammate support you need to hone your skills and experience to suit Momence’s unique value proposition and the prospects in our ideal customer profile(s) (ICP). You’ll spend a training-heavy first week getting a sense of the tools, resources, tech stack, and customer info you need to feel ready hitting the phones in week 2, as you gradually begin ramping to full quota attainment. This is a full time, non-exempt, remote role for which we’re considering qualified candidates who reside in and are authorized to work from any location in the United States. About you You love speaking with people, enjoy tackling tricky problems, and aren’t the least bit skittish about cold calling. You’re hungry to connect with prospects who respond well to empathy, active listening, curiosity, drive, and customer focus. If you’re driven by quota attainment, love helping small business owners out, are a clever problem solver, have at least a year of successful Sales experience, and feel comfortable with Sales fundamentals (think: closing, overcoming objections, driving the conversation, etc.) this could be a great role for you. • Prospecting & Outreach: Launch multi-channel campaigns (calls, emails, social) via HubSpot sequences to stakeholders in education, districts, and schools • Research and map decision-maker hierarchies, enrollment data, and budget cycles • Solution Presentations: Craft and deliver compelling demos of High Dosage Tutoring, ACT Prep Solution, and StudyTrack • Align product benefits to district goals (e.g., test-score gains, intervention metrics, usage analytics) • Account Development: Build and deepen relationships within assigned key accounts to uncover upsell and renewal opportunities in assigned accounts • Sales Tools & Reporting: Log every activity, call outcome, and opportunity update in Salesforce • Automate follow-up sequences and track engagement in HubSpot • Maintain pipeline hygiene and forecast accuracy • In-Person Engagement: Plan and execute on-site visits, discovery meetings, and executive briefings when high ROI potential exists • Represent Studyville at conferences, regional education events, and district planning sessions when necessary
• New Business Development (Hunter Focus) • Prospect into K–12 districts and schools within your territory. • Research target accounts to understand basic context, size, structure, and potential fit. • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities with district and school leaders. • Use outbound channels (email, phone, LinkedIn, events, referrals) to secure introductory meetings. • Follow up promptly on inbound leads and marketing-generated interest to move them into discovery. • Conduct structured discovery conversations to understand instructional and strategic priorities. • Deliver effective product demos tailored to the customer’s goals and use cases. • Manage your deals through the sales process – from initial discovery to proposal and close – with coaching and support from leadership. • Build strong relationships with key contacts (district leaders, curriculum teams, principals, instructional coaches).
• Proactively identify, research, and target K–12 districts and schools within your territory. • Build and manage a robust pipeline of new opportunities with Superintendents, CAOs, and Assistant Superintendents of Curriculum. • Leverage outbound prospecting (email, phone, LinkedIn, conferences, referrals) to secure introductory meetings at the district leadership level. • Lead thoughtful discovery conversations that uncover instructional, curricular, and strategic priorities. • Ask strong, insightful questions to deeply understand district challenges, decision-making processes, and success criteria. • Translate complex district needs into clear, tailored solution proposals using our products and services. • Run the entire sales cycle: discovery, demos, pilots, proposals, pricing, and negotiation through to signed agreements. • Build trust-based relationships with key decision-makers and influencers (district leadership, curriculum directors, instructional leaders, IT, principals). • Navigate multi-stakeholder, committee-based buying processes common in K–12. • Serve as a strategic partner to district leaders, not just a vendor, by bringing insights on best practices, implementation, and impact. • Work closely with product, marketing, and customer success teams to align messaging, refine offerings, and share customer insights. • Provide structured feedback from the field to help shape our roadmap, pricing, pilots, and go-to-market strategy. • Jump in where needed – from supporting early implementations to refining pitch materials – reflecting our “all hands on deck” culture. • Own and exceed your new business revenue and activity targets. • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in our CRM (e.g., pipeline stages, forecasts, activities, notes). • Use data and metrics to manage your territory, prioritize accounts, and continuously improve your performance.
