Role Description As a Casual Medical Officer, you will be at the forefront of our virtual care delivery model, working remotely from home anywhere in Australia to manage acute patients while being supported by a highly skilled multidisciplinary team including medical, paramedic, nursing, pharmacy, administration, allied health, and courier services. You will contribute to the delivery of high-quality virtual acute healthcare by: - Applying your expertise in the clinical diagnosis, investigation, treatment, and ongoing management of acute conditions. - Managing acute presentations in the home, including but not limited to cellulitis, community-acquired pneumonia, infective exacerbation of COPD, VTE/PE, cardiac failure, and complicated UTI. - Collaborating within a broad multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, patient-centred care. - Participating in professional development opportunities, mentoring, and ongoing clinical support. - Being part of a clinician-led environment where your expertise, wellbeing, and contribution are genuinely valued.
