Fields Sales Manager (MN) Etz Hayim owns and operates the brands Cycling Frog and Lazarus Naturals, as well as a sprawling operation that spans from farming over 300 acres of hemp, extraction, chemical processing, packaging and warehousing to support both brands and private label customers. Lazarus Naturals was founded in 2016 to provide safe and accessible CBD products for everyone who would benefit from them, regardless of their financial situation and ability to pay, which is why we provide a 60% Assistance Program to veterans and people with disabilities or low incomes. Cycling Frog is normalizing the consumption of casual use THC products. We want to change the way THC is consumed and viewed by our society by focusing on lower potency, ready to drink beverages that can easily fit into anyone’s lifestyle. Under the Federal Farm Bill it is legal to sell these low potency THC products across all 50 states via the internet, and anywhere you can grab a beer. Summary: This is a full-time, remote role for a Field Sales Manager. The Field Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and securing new sales opportunities, building relationships with clients, and driving revenue through effective sales strategies. Responsibilities include promoting Cycling Frog’s product lines, working closely with the marketing and product teams, delivering proof of concept, & inspiring others in the distributor to follow. Daily responsibilities include managing 2 distributor partners, driving revenue growth, analyzing market trends, and developing account strategies. The role also involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on company objectives. Accountable for Annual business planning to build a world class battleplan that will exceed monthly and quarterly KPI's. Ability to adopt Daily, weekly, & monthly cadences with the distributor partners and direct reports. This role is tasked with growing on and off premise accounts in those markets, to maximize points of distribution (POD’s) and feature/display opportunities. Central to this role will be the management of each distributor, at all management levels. Collaboration and communication will be key in this role as the manager plays a vital role in expanding the brand's market presence. Job Duties ● Develop, implement and manage the annual business plans for Minnesota in partnership with your distributors. Develop and manage all beverage distributor bottom-up sales forecasting, and expense forecasts and budgets. ● Grow both unit volume and revenue of Cycling Frog in your markets, increasing both on/off premise points of distribution ● Work with our distributor reps/managers on all levels to understand the market and identify areas for growth in the hemp-derived market and recreational cannabis dispensaries. ● In partnership with Sales leadership and Brand teams, develop market-specific marketing and promotional plans to drive growth, brand adoption and cater to the specific intricacies of your local markets. ● Lead all local chain sales account sell-in, strategic and tactical planning to drive performance in chains we have placement, and gain new placements. ● Identify major non-buy accounts and develop strategic and tactical plans to gain distribution and volume within target groups, including calling on those accounts directly. ● Initiate periodic broad market distribution drives, including distributor salesperson incentives, to increase points of distribution in qualified, viable accounts. ● Visit 40-50 accounts per week - 150 accounts per month. Building out proof of concept and reporting in-store brand presentation and metrics with VIP/Karma. ● Work with our distributor reps/managers on all levels to understand the market and identify areas for growth, including ride-withs to gain distribution and also familiarize with distributor reps. ● Attend and present Cycling Frog in distributor sales meetings, as appropriate, to educate and promote Cycling Frog products. ● Conduct in store and event samplings to build brand awareness and trial. Responsible for coordinating in-store sampling events with your designated accounts. ● Work within VIP/Karma to communicate opportunities to distributor reps/managers. Requirements ● Proven experience in sales, lead generation, and account management ● Strong networking and relationship-building skills with the ability to identify new opportunities ● Knowledge of market research, sales strategies, and customer engagement techniques ● Proficiency in communication, both written and verbal, as well as presentation delivery ● Time management and organizational skills for independently managing tasks and meeting deadlines ● Proficiency in VIP-CRM tools and sales software; familiarity with digital marketing concepts is a plus ● Bonus qualifications include experience in the cannabis or beverage industry and a passion for innovative products ● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required ● Must have independent transportation. Develop field sales routing and account contact cadence, such that each representative visits each account at least once per month. ● Directly call on and manage sales to 100 dispensary accounts. Lead all chain retail sell in and relationship management. ● Identify major non-buy accounts and develop strategic and tactical plans to gain distribution and volume within target groups, including calling on those accounts directly. ● In partnership with Sales leadership and Brand teams, develop market specific marketing and promotional plans to drive growth, brand adoption and cater to the specific intricacies of your local markets. ● Work with your team and accounts to get product adoption, brand awareness and advocacy of in-storetrain the budtenders“BUD TENDERS” within the dispensaries to create in-store advocates for our products. to educate them on our product and differentiation from competition. ● Attend and present Cycling Frog in trade shows, as appropriate, to educate and promote Cycling Frog products. ● Event planning and occasional weekend support with accounts that want to feature Cycling Frog in a meaningful way. ● Develop, optimize and manage your sales team assigned accounts, routes, initiatives and goals within the markets. Utilize CRM tools & Headset to manage your team's workflow, deliverables, and performance relative to goals. Requirements ● Proven experience leading stateway Dispensary sales and account management. ● 5+ years of experience managing a sales team. ● Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to mentor and manage a sales team effectively ● Knowledge of market analysis, client relationship management, and sales strategy development ● Familiarity with Headset, CRM software and data-driven decision-making processes ● Ability to work independently in a remote environment, with excellent organizational and time-management skills ● Previous experience in the beverage industry is a plus ● Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience) ● Must have independent transportation. Reports To: VP, Ecommerce and Digital Marketing Summary: This is a full-time remote role for a Manager, National Accounts for the Natural Medicine categories of Lazarus Naturals. As a key leader in the company, you will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with national accounts, overseeing sales and account management strategies, leading business development initiatives, and driving overall revenue growth. You will ensure exceptional client service, set strategic goals, and identify new opportunities to maximize impact within the industry. This role requires travel as needed to maintain and build strong partnerships. Duties - Strategic ownership of wholesale expansion for Lazarus Naturals including building long-term strategy, go to market plans for new products, strategic approach to market building, sales and operating budget to support revenue goals, and creating weekly, monthly and quarterly metrics and KPIs. - Act as the primary account manager for regional and national retail chains across grocery, big box, and natural health categories. - Develop and execute sales plans, pricing and promotional programs with the goal of hitting revenue targets and kpis. - Identify and bring on new accounts. Define ideal retail accounts and build business development strategy. Manage onboarding and client relationships for new and existing accounts. - Attend trade shows and visit national chains to expand networks. Build travel and trade show budget and plan, identifying which shows to attend and how Lazarus Naturals should appear. Work with brand team to build trade show assets and booth. - Manage and develop category managers and buyers to grow the Lazarus Naturals portfolio.
