• Prepare, review, and file complex multi-state sales and use tax returns • Analyze invoices, sales transactions, purchase data, and expense records to determine taxability • Reconcile monthly sales and use tax general ledger accounts and maintain detailed, audit-ready workpapers and documentation • Monitor and help assess nexus, registration needs, and other state and local compliance requirements • Serve as a primary point of contact for client and state inquiries, including notices, audits, and other correspondence with taxing authorities • Perform sales and use tax research, support voluntary disclosure agreements, refund claims, and exemption certificate management • Advise internal teams and clients on the taxability of products and services • Partner across teams to support tax system configurations, integrations, and automation • Maintain internal sales and use tax calendars • Work with senior leadership to track compliance metrics, identify process gaps, and propose scalable process and systems enhancements • Participate in weekly team meetings and contribute to training, documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives • Attend internal meetings, training sessions, and tax planning sessions • Cross-train on Kruze’s services and clients • Engage in ongoing professional development

• Conduct Zoom and phone call interviews with clients • Gather and analyze financial statements and tax returns • Prepare R&D tax credit workbooks for client meetings • Prepare R&D tax credit study quotes for clients • Prepare and review R&D tax credit calculations • Communicate R&D tax credit laws and eligibility to clients; consult with Managers when higher level expertise is necessary • Research and assess professional backgrounds as applicable to R&D tax credit eligibility • Construct and maintain R&D tax credit client statuses and workflows • Provide consistent, strong follow-ups to ensure deadlines are met • Prepare Form 6765 with tax software CCH Axcess • Prepare Form 8974 with PDF Editor • Review calculations and studies prepared by the R&D tax team • Coordinate with the Income Tax team • Collaborate and follow up with payroll providers and PEOs to ensure proper R&D tax credit disbursements • Meet with Manager(s) weekly to discuss new, in-progress, and upcoming assignments • Research tax law changes impacting the R&D tax credit and implement any necessary changes • Assist with the billing process to ensure accurate, timely completion

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements • Generate accurate and comprehensive financial reports for management and stakeholders • Review and evaluate the work of other accounting staff working on the same client • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger by recording, reconciling, and analyzing transactions, as well as having primary responsibility for final sign off on the ledger • Analyzing financial information and summarizing financial status • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for financial matters • Provide due diligence support to clients for audits, fundraising, and M&A activities • Monitor, analyze, and report on key financial metrics, trends, and variances • Provide client management with accurate and timely financial information for decision-making • Conduct financial analysis to support client business initiatives, investment decisions, and cost optimization efforts • Provide financial insights and recommendations to client management to support strategic planning and decision-making

• Build, document, and maintain scalable operations processes that support Sales, Marketing, Accounting, and Tax teams. • Improve how we use Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and related GTM/marketing automation tools to support lead generation, nurture, campaign workflows, and automation for sales development. • Partner closely with Marketing to operationalize campaigns (list builds, audience segmentation, lead scoring, and routing) and ensure clean handoffs to Sales. • Support Salesforce administration (workflows, configuration, and integrations) to improve data quality and efficiency. • Maintain clear documentation for sales and marketing processes, workflows, and data definitions. • Ensure accurate, consistent data across Salesforce and connected systems for outreach, reporting, and analysis. • Analyze inbound and outbound funnels to identify bottlenecks, improve conversion rates, and uncover growth opportunities. • Build and maintain reports and dashboards that show key performance metrics and pipeline health. • Help refine pipeline and revenue forecasting models and measure marketing campaign performance and attribution. • Regularly review workflows, processes, and automation to simplify, standardize, and scale. • Contribute to special projects that enhance our sales and marketing operations function (e.g., territory design, quota support, sales compensation analysis). • Stay up to date on sales and marketing operations trends and suggest new tools, processes, and analytics.
