• Plan, schedule, and execute drayage moves — port pickups, rail ramp transfers, transloads, and last-mile deliveries — across a high-volume, multimodal shipment portfolio • Manage container free time, chassis availability, demurrage, and detention exposure across multiple terminals and steamship lines with a sharp eye on cost • Draw on multimodal experience to coordinate across carrier networks and deliver seamless end-to-end solutions • Serve as a trusted point of contact for customers — proactive communication, real-time exception management, and consistent follow-through • Leverage our proprietary platform, third-party TMS, and ThoughtSpot analytics to track shipments, surface insights, and stay ahead of exceptions • Review, audit, and dispute carrier invoices including accessorials, demurrage, and per diem with precision and documentation to back it up • Perform key administrative functions: maintain shipment records, manage documentation workflows, generate daily exception and KPI reports, and ensure data integrity across systems • Support carrier onboarding, carrier coordination, and relationship development
• Build your territory and customer base by selling our unique web-based platform • Gain new business in your territory and grow your customer base to meet quota goals • Win, retain and develop small to large Business Customers through sales "hunting" activity • Maximize sales growth from existing customers through new sales and customer support strategies • Build rapport with customers by being informed about their business and the market • Recommend solutions based on customer needs using industry knowledge • Organize and support customer workshops on diverse subjects
• Develop and execute a software sales strategy for supply chain document management software platform. • Meet established sales goals and develop new business relationships via prospecting, customer research, networking, referrals, etc. • Handle the entire sales process from proposal to close, reaching or exceeding sales goals. • Maintain advanced knowledge of the company’s product, creating innovative messaging to market the company’s product to the target market. • Conduct sales visits and software demonstrations to prospective clients. • Answer questions, describe benefits, and discuss pros and cons of various competing products. • Develop touch patterns, including email, phone and InMail outreach, aligning messaging to use-cases within the target market. • Identify and engage decision makers and propose appropriate next steps. • Develop and maintain customer portfolios, contact lists, and customer activity records. • Represent the company at conferences, meetings, trade shows, etc. • Identify and evolve with the latest industry and business development trends by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional / industry organizations. • Proactively identify problems and implement effective solutions. • Provide responsive customer service and resolve client issues quickly and efficiently. • Support client delivery/onboarding and advise on technical matters after the sale through Go-Live. • Assists in responding to requests for proposals.
