Role Description The Strategy & Intelligence Coordinator supports Just Right Reader's strategic growth efforts by monitoring, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating information related to education policy, funding opportunities, curriculum adoption, legislation, partnerships, and market opportunities. Reporting to the Director of Strategy, this role serves as the operational and intelligence backbone of the Strategy function. The Coordinator ensures timely identification of emerging opportunities, maintains strategic intelligence systems, manages information workflows, and produces actionable insights that support executive decision-making, market expansion, funding strategies, and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly organized, intellectually curious, skilled at synthesizing large amounts of information, and eager to leverage emerging technologies, including AI, to improve research, intelligence gathering, and operational efficiency. Qualifications - Required: Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Education, Government, Public Administration, Business, Communications, or related field. - 2-5 years of experience in research, strategy, policy, government affairs, education, consulting, market intelligence, or related fields. - Strong analytical, research, and organizational skills. - Exceptional written communication and information synthesis abilities. - Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and research tools. - Preferred: Experience with legislative, policy, funding, or education-related research. - Familiarity with curriculum adoption processes, education funding, or literacy initiatives. - Experience using AI tools to support research, analysis, workflow management, knowledge organization, or business operations (ChatGPT, Claude, Grammarly, Gemini, NotebookLM, Grok, Quincy). - Experience with intelligence, CRM, project management, and legislative tracking platforms (e.g., Quorum, GovWin, HubSpot). Requirements - Monitor state and federal developments related to literacy, education, curriculum adoption, funding, early childhood education, family engagement, and related policy areas. - Research emerging market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and competitive developments. - Maintain state profiles, market intelligence resources, and strategic opportunity trackers. - Prepare concise summaries, executive briefings, and intelligence reports for leadership. - Track federal, state, tribal, and private funding opportunities. - Monitor appropriations, grant competitions, budget allocations, and funding announcements. - Maintain funding calendars, deadline trackers, and grant intelligence resources. - Support development of grant-related tools, templates, and applicant resources. - Track legislation, regulations, agency guidance, board actions, and policy developments. - Monitor state boards of education, legislative committees, and education agencies. - Maintain legislative tracking systems and policy databases. - Prepare summaries of significant developments and identify potential organizational impacts. - Manage strategic inboxes, newsletters, subscriptions, and information sources. - Organize, categorize, and prioritize incoming intelligence. - Maintain calendars of key deadlines, adoption cycles, funding opportunities, and legislative events. - Coordinate information requests and strategic projects across departments and external partners. - Support special initiatives related to state strategy, federal opportunities, partnerships, and market development. - Utilize AI tools to improve research efficiency, information synthesis, workflow automation, knowledge management, and strategic intelligence gathering. - Develop and maintain AI-assisted processes for monitoring, summarizing, organizing, and analyzing large volumes of information. - Identify opportunities to leverage AI to improve organizational awareness, decision-making, and operational effectiveness. - Stay informed about emerging AI capabilities and recommend applications that support strategic objectives. - Develop weekly, monthly, and ad hoc intelligence reports. - Create executive summaries, dashboards, briefing materials, and presentations. - Draft first-pass analyses, research memoranda, and strategic recommendations. - Ensure leadership receives timely, actionable information on emerging opportunities and risks. Role Description This role is focused on serving our districts in the state of Oklahoma. The Customer Success Manager (CSM) plays a vital role in ensuring that districts and schools in Oklahoma achieve meaningful results through their partnership with Just Right Reader. The CSM is responsible for guiding customers from onboarding through full program adoption, driving engagement, and ensuring measurable impact on accelerated student reading growth. This role is all about relationships and results - helping educators and administrators make the most of our products and services, aligning our work with their literacy and instructional goals, and supporting long-term renewals and growth. Key Responsibilities - Account Management & Partnership Development - Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned districts and schools throughout the customer lifecycle. - Build strong, trust-based relationships with district and school leaders, instructional coaches, and classroom educators. - Develop and maintain account plans that outline key goals, milestones, and success metrics. - Conduct regular check-ins to review progress, identify challenges, and share strategies for success. - Monitor account health to proactively address risks and identify opportunities for renewal and expansion. - Implementation & Adoption - Support new customers through successful onboarding, ensuring smooth program launches and clear communication of next steps. - Partner with district and school teams to ensure effective implementation aligned to instructional priorities and literacy goals. - Use data and usage reports to guide discussions, track progress, and highlight impact. - Deliver professional learning sessions, data reviews, and presentations that demonstrate student and educator success. - Impact & Renewal - Analyze customer outcomes to connect product usage with literacy growth and program results. - Present data and success stories that demonstrate measurable value and progress toward district goals. - Drive renewals and expansions through demonstrated impact and strong customer relationships. - Identify customer advocates for testimonials, case studies, and presentations at conferences or webinars. - Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate with internal teams - including Sales, Automation, Product, and Marketing - to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience. - Partner with Sales to support pilot conversions and identify opportunities for additional solutions. - Provide customer feedback and insights to internal teams to inform continuous product and service improvement. Position Overview: The Project Coordinator supports the successful execution of the Just Right Reader CLSD Research and Innovation Project, a multi-year, state-level literacy initiative. This role is responsible for coordinating day-to-day project operations, supporting communication across stakeholders, and ensuring the timely completion of project activities and deliverables. The Project Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining organization, tracking implementation progress, and supporting research coordination, data collection, and reporting efforts aligned with ESSA evidence requirements. In addition, this role may support coordination of other Just Right Reader research and evaluation initiatives as needed. This individual contributor role is ideal for a strong product engineer with meaningful backend depth. You should be comfortable shipping in a modern TypeScript and Next.js environment while also working through API design, SQL-heavy workflows, third-party integrations, and production debugging. This is not a narrowly scoped frontend role or a pure infrastructure role. It is a hands-on engineering role for someone who can move across the stack and help solve real operational problems in a workflow-heavy product environment. Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain product features across frontend, backend, and database layers. - Design and implement backend APIs and application workflows for both customer-facing and internal operational use cases. - Improve internal tools used by operations, customer success, fulfillment, and related teams. - Work across TypeScript application logic, SQL queries, reporting workflows, and integration code. - Build and maintain integrations with external systems such as ERP, CRM, auth/identity, and fulfillment-related tools. - Debug and resolve issues across application code, data, cloud services, and operational workflows. - Contribute to reliable, maintainable systems that support a growing platform and a small, fast-moving team.
