• Build relationships with key decision makers and influencers at assigned accounts through regular email, webinars, conferences, and in-person engagements. • Grow the revenue at your assigned accounts for all ITHAKA-related products and services using a consultative selling approach. • Maintain excellent and detailed knowledge of all ITHAKA products and services, with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate their value to your account base. • Maintain up-to-date product, industry, and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications, participating in professional societies, and drawing on learnings from professional networks. • Become skilled on the trends within your assigned accounts and provide feedback and expertise back to the organization to inform cross-functional decision-making. • Negotiate licensing terms and participation fees with prospective and current participants. • Partner closely with your regional teammates to achieve mutual goals and success across your assigned accounts. • Engage regularly with all assigned accounts to achieve assigned performance metrics. • Provide top-tier account support in the form of managing license agreement negotiations, providing and interpreting account usage data, and order processing. • Effectively and dynamically communicate JSTOR’s strategic direction to build awareness and help the organization achieve its transformational goals. • Diligently and effectively track your conversations and pipeline in ITHAKAs CRM to inform business commitments and revenue forecasting. • 25% (1 week per month) travel to visit participating libraries and attend industry and company events required.

• Identify and evaluate primary source materials for inclusion in Reveal Digital collections through independent research and engagement with libraries, archives, and other contributors. • Serve as a primary partner-facing lead for contributing institutions and individuals, building relationships that support sustained participation, shared expectations, and responsible stewardship. • Coordinate the acquisition of materials, including rights and permissions documentation as needed. • Translate curatorial intent into publication-ready plans by partnering with internal teams to move materials through digitization, metadata creation, quality review, and publication; ensure that workflows and outputs align with the collection’s intellectual and ethical goals. • Contribute to collection descriptions, metadata review, and contextual materials to support discovery and scholarly use. • Maintain accurate project tracking and documentation, ensuring collection progress, permissions status, and publication readiness are clearly recorded. • Review digital materials and metadata to help ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project goals. • Communicate regularly with internal and external partners to support coordination, resolve issues, and maintain project progress. • Maintain high-level visibility into collection progress and risks, including publication readiness, rights constraints that affect scholarly access, and dependencies across partners; escalate issues that require program leadership decisions. • Contribute to outreach and field engagement as a curator and program representative, including presentations, partner conversations, and professional convenings that strengthen Reveal Digital’s collaborations and scholarly impact.

• Lead the coordination of core practices, services, and analytics for the Education team • Apply evidence-based insights to improve impact • Create and deliver education content that leads to the successful use of ITHAKA products and services • Collaborate within and across teams to provide analytics/insights and recommend strategic improvements to team tools, processes, and content • Create and implement strategic plans for management and delivery of education programs • Coordinate standards and best practices for product education • Collaborate with Education team members and cross-team collaborators to identify and implement process improvements • Create and maintain core educational materials • Plan and deliver compelling educational webinars • Monitor and report on Education team metrics

• Architect, develop, and maintain internal platforms, services, and tooling that support CI/CD, automation, and software delivery. • Design and build scalable backend services and APIs, including event-driven microservices. • Build and maintain user-facing interfaces and internal web applications using modern frontend frameworks and UI best practices. • Lead and support the evolution of CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and platform automation. • Apply DevOps and enablement methodologies to improve development velocity, reliability, quality, and operational efficiency. • Partner closely with product, platform, and application engineering teams to improve developer workflows and platform usability. • Champion developer experience by ensuring enablement tools are intuitive, accessible, well-documented, and aligned with user needs. • Mentor and coach engineers across teams on architecture, coding standards, DevOps practices, and UI/UX considerations. • Facilitate technical deep dives, design reviews, and training sessions to promote shared learning and best practices. • Evaluate, prototype, and integrate new technologies that add value to the software delivery ecosystem. • Contribute to internal platform roadmaps and help translate organizational goals into actionable technical initiatives. • Operate with a "You Build It, You Own It" mindset, taking shared responsibility for the reliability, maintainability, and evolution of the code you help put into production.

We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful Publisher Relations intern to work closely with our Content Strategy and Relationships Team, which manages the publisher partners that disseminate their publications on JSTOR. This role provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in managing relationships with publishers of electronic academic journals, learn about the scholarly publishing of licensed and open access journals, and work with individuals focusing on the nuances of content curation. You will have the opportunity to learn project management and to help identify important journals to support academic scholarship on JSTOR. You will assist the Content Strategy team in identifying journals that can be published as open access on JSTOR, increasing the discoverability and usage of these journals to individuals around the world.This position will report to the Senior Publisher Relations Manager. This is a full-time internship, the intern is expected to work 40 hours per week. The internship spans a period of 12 weeks, beginning on June 1, 2026. Responsibilities The intern will support one or more projects during their term. Specific project components, tasks required to complete them, and expected project deliverables will be defined in collaboration with the intern’s supervisor and additional team members. Potential project components may include: Investigating New Content Resources Conduct market research to help identify emerging trends in the academic market and support the inclusion of new, sought-after content on JSTOR. Explore potential partnerships with new-to-JSTOR academic publishers, including developing tailored outreach strategies to attract new OA content providers. Expand the pipeline of new-to-JSTOR open access content across content types. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline workflows and processes for onboarding new OA content, and support these onboarding processes on an ongoing basis. Provide regular updates and reports to the CSR team on OA pipeline growth, content acquisition metrics, and project status for any ongoing initiatives. Supporting New Content Acquisition for LLM Revenue Opportunities Support the CSR team’s efforts to partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify in-demand content for Large Language Models (LLMs) and other AI initiatives. Assist the CSR team in building a pipeline of content providers interested in licensing their content for use by AI tools and securing permissions to license this content. Supporting the Conversion of Licensed Journals to Open Access Conduct additional research and analysis as needed to confirm the CSR team’s initial determination of a journal’s Open Access status. Assist in identifying licensed titles that could be added to the JSTOR platform as substitutes for titles that have converted to full-run OA on JSTOR. Support the onboarding process for existing licensed titles that convert to OA on JSTOR. Learning Opportunities: Gain practical experience in managing relationships with academic publishers. Understand the nuances of content curation and organization. Participate in content strategy development in a digital platform context. Contribute to the expansion and enhancement of JSTOR's content offerings. Develop skills in data analysis and research methodologies related to academic content.
