• Managing and developing the design team — running structured 1:1s, setting goals, providing regular feedback, and supporting career development for designers across product and marketing streams • Driving practical adoption of AI across the team — identifying tools, introducing them into workflows, and ensuring they are used to improve output rather than as isolated experiments • Hiring as the team grows — defining requirements, running interviews, onboarding new hires • Running usability tests and user research — using existing tools and processes to test designs, gather evidence, and feed findings into prioritisation and design decisions • Owning design delivery and SLAs — defining intake processes, setting tiered turnaround SLAs, tracking on-time delivery, and measuring stakeholder satisfaction with design as a function • Working closely with Product and Marketing to shape work early, clarify requirements, and align on outcomes • Governing design quality — reviewing the team's output, maintaining quality standards and review gates, ensuring consistency across product and brand without carrying individual design work • Building on and scaling the team's existing processes, visibility, and ways of working as we grow • Scaling the design system — driving adoption across designers and engineers, tracking component reuse, identifying gaps, and ensuring the system accelerates delivery • Helping marketing designers produce stronger, more effective work by shaping briefs and direction

• Manage and support multiple engineering teams and Team Leads • Improve delivery processes, team performance, and engineering effectiveness • Help scale engineering processes and organizational structure • Drive operational and process improvements across teams • Support architectural discussions and long-term technical strategy • Mentor engineers and engineering leaders • Help improve planning, communication, and cross-team collaboration • Contribute to engineering culture and organizational growth

• Supporting customers with onboarding and information requests by communicating effectively in a professional manner • Performing Account Opening and Closing processing, including ISA Transfers • Supporting other client communication channels, like our Forum and social media • Knowledgeable about our service and able to explain that to customers in a simple but accurate way • Managing workflow queues and mailboxes • Undertaking prompt and appropriate action to address complaints • Working collaboratively with departments across the business • Ensuring that all client-service-related activities are fully in compliance with the processes and procedures for the firm's AML and KYC obligations • Understanding the regulatory requirements relating to Financial Crime, Advice, Complaints, and Treating Customers Fairly

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Python 3.11 using Django / DRF • Lead architectural discussions and contribute to long-term technical strategy • Work with MySQL and Redis to optimize performance and scalability • Build and improve RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations • Collaborate with Product, Compliance, and Business teams to deliver impactful features and automate back office processes and workflows. • Investigate and resolve production issues, identify bottlenecks, and reduce tech debt • Apply best practices in Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity, GitHub Actions), and code quality • Mentor and develop engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance • Support security and compliance requirements with pragmatic, scalable technical solutions

• Lead the operational and administrative elements of InvestEngine’s pension offering, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning and scalability • Ensure pension products remain compliant with UK pension regulation (FCA, TPR and HMRC) and evolving regulatory requirements • Manage and optimise pension administration processes, including oversight of third-party administrator, adherence to SLAs and ongoing compliance • Drive improvements in pension compliance processes and operational efficiency, reducing manual workflows through automation • Define and deliver enhancements to the SIPP product, including support for employer contributions and associated operational processes • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to design and deliver scalable product features, integrations, and infrastructure improvements • Work with technical infrastructure to support integrations with pension administrators and partner systems • Partner with UI/UX designers to create intuitive pension product experiences aligned with user needs, product strategy and consumer duty • Use product and customer data to inform decisions and continuously improve the pension product experience
