Your Future Role Innomotics is looking for a Field Service Technician for our Variable Frequency Drives that will coordinate, lead, implements and/or perform service for new equipment installations, upgrades, retrofits, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and training. Your Profile Responsibilities: - Perform Commissioning installations, Preventative Maintenance, sophisticated trouble shooting, problem analysis and product specific service on Siemens product line. - Performs sophisticated maintenance on tools, test equipment, etc. - Must be proficient with use of various hand tools, torque wrenches, etc., - Ability to climb ladders, stairs as the need arises - Ability to lift heavy objects, bending & reaching as the need arises - Completes documentation of all work performed – Commissioning, Preventative Maintenance, Upgrades, trouble shooting, etc. Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience: - 3+ years of technical hands-on experience specific to electrical measurement equipment and/or Associates degree or 1-2 years of vocational technical training preferred. HS diploma or equivalent required - Working proficiency with electrical measurement equipment including; multimeters, oscilloscopes, and various niche equipment for communication and network systems. - Adept at field service, troubleshooting and commissioning activities for Siemens Perfect Harmony VFD’s and Sinamics products. - Validated troubleshooting techniques and excellent interpersonal communication skills. - Candidate should be able to read and understand electrical plans, specifications, drawings, and installation schematics. - 100% Travel required with the position - Knowledge of Siemens product experience in Perfect Harmony VFDs and Sinamics equipment. - Offshore Platform work required – HUET training - Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience - Candidate should be familiar with electrical safety PPE and procedures (LOTO, NFPA70E and OSHA regulations.) The position is in Remote within the United States. Other possible locations are PA,OH,MI,TX,IL,WI,GA,MO, and KS. The pay range for this position is $54,300 - $100,900. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location. Primary Responsibilities: Product Management Professional (Medium Voltage Drives) - Ensure the top tier market position of Perfect Harmony GH180 Drives, lead and support various PLM activities throughout the life of the product. - Develop an intimate knowledge of global customer needs and competitors, identify global market trends and drivers, and formulate and implement a strategic marketing plan. - Develop good technical knowledge of all products and services, as well as a detailed understanding of the global marketplace. - Acquire global customer requirements and product specifications via market research activities, market analysis, and ongoing communication with global marketing and sales. - Enable successful development of new products, as well as interact with cross-functional project teams of engineering, quality, sales, and marketing specialists to develop impactful product launches. - Support activities related to product maintenance and product enhancements after product release, as well as support activities to improve the EBIT situation of products through cost reduction efforts. - Support product marketing and the creation of content for pre-sales activities like catalogs, sales tools, and engineering manuals. - Handle product related market and competitor analyses. - 10% domestic and international travel required. - Telecommuting permitted. Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and 7 years of experience. - Understanding of power electronics and medium voltage variable speed drives technology, applications and industries; - Voltage Source Inverters with Cascade H Bridge and Multicell Topology; - Voltage Source Inverters with 2, 3 or 5 levels NPC (Neutral Point Clamped); - Voltage Source Inverters with Modular Multilevel Topology; - Knowledge of tools such as Polarion, AGT, PMD, SPC/IPC, and VFDnet; - SAP, SIRIUS, Salesforce; - Lean and Agile development processes and methods; and - Experience with different types of High Voltage and High Power Motors such as: Squirrel Cage Induction Motors, Synchronous Motors, Permanent Magnet Motors. - 10% domestic and international travel required. - Telecommuting permitted. - Eligible for the Employee Referral Program.
